"The illiteracy level of our children are appalling."

"I'm honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."

"Karen is with us. A West Texas girl, just like me."

"And most importantly, Alma Powell, secretary of Colin Powell, is with us." (My personal favorite in the list.)

*Poor people aren't necessarily killers. Just because you happen to be not rich doesn't mean you're willing to kill."

"The war on terror involves Saddam Hussein because of the nature of Saddam Hussein, the history of Saddam Hussein, and his willingness to terrorize himself."

And there are more! Check out this site: http://www.dubyaspeak.com/quiz.php

And my only hope is that, one day soon, women--who have all earned their right to their opinions--instead of being called opinionated, will be called smart and well-informed, just like men. ~Teresa Heinz Kerry (bless her)

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."—Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

"God loves you, and I love you. And you can count on both of us as a powerful message that people who wonder about their future can hear."—Los Angeles, Calif., March 3, 2004

"In my judgment, when the United States says there will be serious consequences, and if there isn't serious consequences, it creates adverse consequences."

I think we now know what it would have been like if Dan Quayle had been elected.

And then there's my all-time favorite, George's version of the Golden Rule:

"Like your neighbor like you like to be liked yourself." He said this during his 1st campaign, and then I heard it again myself, on TV, just a week or so ago. Has NO ONE told him how ludicrous that is?!!!!
