Those hemorroid commercials on TV just crack me up, the way they portray afflicted people squirming in their chairs sctratching themselves. And they are allways at church or their kids recital or some such gathering and allways sitting in front.

A woman in her 30's was taking her mother, who was in her 50's to the gynocologist. After dropping her mother off, she and her daughter ran a few errands, then returned to the doctor.
While the older woman had her feet in the stirrups, the doctor remarked, "Don't we look pretty today", as he performed his examination. The lady was quite shocked, but said nothing.
When her daughter picked her up, she was quite upset. The following conversation ensued:
Mother: Do you know what that doctor said to me? He said, "Don't we look pretty today", while he was looking between my legs! Do you think that was appropriate?
Daughter: No! Are you sure he wasn't referring to your hairstyle or something?
Mother: Well, it still wasn't appropriate or professional. I wonder if it could be considered sexual harassment. What do you think?
Daughter: I don't know. We're you embarassed?
Mother: I was very embarassed. I used some of your FDS this morning, and he may have smelled that, but I still don't think he should have commented!
Daughter: I don't have any FDS.
Mother: Why, sure you do! In the blue can that was on back of the toilet. I used some before the appointment...
Granddaughter: Grandma! That's my Barbie Golden Glitter Hair Spray!
Ah yes, the dangers of similar packaging. LOL

Since then, I have become beautiful.

Maggie...Right...and I can usually answer her dumb comments with a copy paste from years ago. Lately, I've lost interest in reading her posts...muchless answering them.
Yellowstone...paranoid is the best way to be in this environment.
BTW...that's meant to be funny.

To keep this on topic.. posting photo's here on the board is a pain in the asp.. hemorrhoid..
Helen, I know you have often shown how to post a photo here on the board.. but my question is, if I have an account with vendio to host my ebay photos, am I able to use vendio to post photos here on the board? Yes? How? If I have to use my cable company who offer me web space.. what size should the photo's be? And why do you and others always put the little (*) sign in the instructions only to say take them out???? thanks Maggie

I must have missed the so-called fight in the 10 page tread posted. I sure don't see one.

You can host pictures on Vendio to be posted here on these boards and I think the maximum size they can be is 350k. But a good rule that I use is that when I pull up the picture that I want to post, if it looks ok on the screen and it doesn't run past the sides so as to have to scroll to see the whole pic then the size is ok.
To post the pic just do it the same way that you do when you post your smilies. What I mean is use the same ubb codes, i.e [*img][/img*] without the (*), if I were to not use the (*) in my instructions it would look like this a box with a red X in it and then you wouldn't see the ubb codes.
Here's the ubb codes and url of your personal maggie smilie with the (*'s) in it
[*img]http://www.smileycons.com/img/classic/0238.gif[/img*]
and here it is without the (*) in it

Maggie, I store my photos at Earthlink and use FTP...But you can use Vendio too.
Your url of photos at vendio would include your location and look something like this...
[img]http://imagehost.vendio.com/preview/ma/maggiemuggins/picturename.jpg[/img*]
Take the asterisk out when you post a photo. I put it there so that you could see the complete url. For example if I had used a photoname that you have stored at vendio your photo would show up. So, just add your picture name and remove the asterisk...close the space and it should work.

Eat too much of this and it'll give you hemorroids for sure.
