in light of the following, clipped from Helen on another thread:

No need to worry, Logansdad. We use the phrase LOL for the reason it was intended...laughter and approval. Linda's unique and as you suggest "copyrighted" use of that same phrase means, "take that and shove it up your azz."

I'm wondering if we shouldn't come up with something to replace linda's corruption of "LOL", lest it be mistaken for something other than approval and supportive laughter. I'd suggest maybe, LAY (laughing at you), or LID (laughing in derision) or PAL (pointing and laughing).

Suggestions welcome..

Good one, Cheryl!!!

LOL! This is really becoming a problem. I'm rather hesitant to use the big grin because it has almost acquired an evil connotation.

Maybe she could use, TT & SIUYA (Take That & ......)

Hahaha!

Isn't it odd how upset "twelve" is getting about this thread making fun of someone who uses too many LOLs?

Dave,

what does NFW stand for?

Maggie

ROTFLMAO! I lived with a man for three years. Did everything for him. One day, he decides to start seeing someone else behind my back. Of course, I didn't take it lying down, so to speak. I introduced his german shepherd to his water bed. Needless to say, when he woke up in the morning he was soaked! I had wisely slept on the couch that night. By the end of the week I had packed up everything I own, which was almost everything in the house, and left. Best move I ever made!!!
