Ever since 1936, The Washington Redskins have predicted the outcome of the Presidential Election. The formula: Based on their last home game prior to the election, when the Redskins win, the incumbant or the incumbants party wins, when the Skins lose, the incumbants lose. This method has worked 17 consecutive elections.
Today, the Redskins played the Greenbay Packers, and the Redskins lost 28-14. We can only hope that this is another indicator that Kerry is going to win this election.

sorry Rusty-when the Redskins lost to the Greenbay Fudgepackers,it was expected as the Redskins are one of the worst teams in football. If Kerry does win, this wont be the reason.

Classic watch what you call America's team
Favre goes to Washington as Bush will stay in Washington.
Kerry only wishes this would happen as he is the best football fan in the country that knows Lambert Field and eats Brats. (that's a with the long sound)

Classic has also showed his ignorance of the Skins... Afterall they are back under the helm of the winningest coach in NFL history, have the 8th ranked defense in the league, and Clinton Portis if they can get someone to open a hole or two for them. Add that to the fact that this years Packers are not quite the mean green machine they once were and Farves case of the dizzies and this was not a game that was easily predicted.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Ironic that classicrock doesn't point out all of the seasons where the Redskins were supposed to win, but lost, or the seasons where they were supposed to lose, but won. No one takes this seriously, but those who knew of this superstitious indicator were into a game that otherwise wouldn't have mattered to them. You better believe that outside of those Packer/Skins fans, that if you were for Kerry you'd be pulling for the Packers and if you were for Bush you would be pulling for the Skins. Personally, I just want to preserve this superstitious indicator as long as possible. It is nothing more than fun.

Now there is an oxymoron. Fenix calling someone else other than herself, ignorant.
This is the year of broken tradition. The Red Sox won the world series and broke that curse. Now the Redskins lost so the tradition will also be broken. Bush will win in a landslide.

Stone - your habit of following me everywhere with no visable intent other than to insult (since you have yet to actually contribute anything of substance in those posts) kind of reminds me of 6 year olds on the playground pulling the hair of the girl they like. Let me just be clear ... you can quit now, the only thing you are accomplishing is showing your own immaturity and inability to accept reality.
Like I said before... better luck next time.
