Seems like some liberals are under the misguided notion that electing some lying traitor to the white house will reunite this country... got news for the morons... ain't gonna happen with that lying traitor... it will, if nothing else, make this country more divisive...
that lying traitor couldn't lead thirsty horse to water... and damn sure won't make him drink.

No, we're just trying to get rid of the military deserting coward who now occupies the White House and his lying horde of goons he brought with him.
We really don't care if the Wrestle mania/stock car racing red state retards unite with us or not, as long as we get the much smarter and wiser Kerry into the White House.

Pres Bush has a Honorable Discharge with the appropriate date on it. Unlike kerry's reissued altered discharge, granted to him under carters deserter amnesty. kerry is a trator.
kerry for president.......of Vietnam.... Hey, hey Ho, ho Kerry - sign the 1-8-0

Even the dems who will be voting for kerry certainly aren't singing his praises.
Read three here....sound like they're being forced...and in a sense they are ...because they don't have another choice.

taken from the Federalist Patriot today
"I know few people enthused about John Kerry. His record is undistinguished, and where it stands out, mainly regrettable. He intuitively believes that if a problem exists, it is the government's job to fix it. He has far too much faith in international institutions, like the corrupt and feckless United Nations, in the tasks of global management. He got the Cold War wrong. He got the first Gulf War wrong. His campaign's constant and excruciating repositioning on the war against Saddam have been disconcerting, to say the least. I completely understand those who look at this man's record and deduce that he is simply unfit to fight a war for our survival. They have an important point -- about what we know historically of his character and his judgment when this country has faced dire enemies. His scars from the Vietnam War lasted too long and have gone too deep to believe that he has clearly overcome the syndrome that fears American power rather than understands how to wield it for good." --Andrew Sullivan, The New Republic, endorsing John Kerry
"I can't remember ever voting for anybody I disliked as much as I do John Kerry, at least not for president, but vote for him I will. I didn't have much use for Al Gore either, but I don't remember any real sense of hostility before punching the hole next to his name.... I can't persuade anybody to vote for a candidate for whom I can muster so little enthusiasm, but there must be an awful lot of people out there who are going to cast votes next week for Kerry who are, like me, discouraged by the prospect and needing one of those you-are-not-alone talks." --Mark Brown, Chicago Sun-Times, endorsing John Kerry
"I remain totally unimpressed by John Kerry. Outside of his opposition to the death penalty, I've never seen him demonstrate any real political courage. His baby steps in the direction of reform liberalism during the 1990s were all followed by hasty retreats. His Senate vote against the 1991 Gulf War demonstrates an instinctive aversion to the use of American force, even when it's clearly justified. Kerry's major policy proposals in this campaign range from implausible to ill-conceived. He has no real idea what to do differently in Iraq. His health-care plan costs too much to be practical and conflicts with his commitment to reducing the deficit. At a personal level, he strikes me as the kind of windbag that can only emerge when a naturally pompous and self-regarding person marinates for two decades inside the U.S. Senate. If elected, Kerry would probably be a mediocre, unloved president on the order of Jimmy Carter." --Jacob Weisberg, Slate, endorsing John Kerry

Great endorsements huh?

reamond is a perfect example of a sterotyping bigot...
Yas suh boss... you talks real good there massa reamond... you talks real good...
Also you can see why this country will be more divided than ever... people like reamond are all for "voting" and letting the people decide, except when the decision isn't his...
AIN'T LIFE GRAND...
Bigotry and prejudice -- these are assertions, not arguments. This is name-calling, not case-building.
If one of my sons had been in danger of going to Vietnam, I would have done all in my power to keep him out of there. But anyone who does that does not deserve to be given the opportunity to order others to put their lives on the line, when they, themselves were not willing to do it. It doesn't matter if it is Mrs. Cheney's son, Mrs. Clinton's son, Mrs. Bush's son, or my son.

I'm still waiting for the Bush daughters to enlist and go fight in Iraq.
It was disgusting to hear Bush's daughters at the RN convention talking about nothing to do since they graduated from college, while their poorer peers are getting killed in Iraq.
If their dad's policy is so right, why don't they enlist and go fight ?

VOLUNTEER- One who enters into, or offers for, any service of his own free will.
the problem with the interpretation that our military is all Volunteer is that in the true sense of the word, volunteers are those who give of themselves, but do not receive. to say that our military is a volunteer organization is false. the military is just like a corporation. recruits are tested, trained, and placed into a workforce where they receive pay.
I was a volunteer recruiter, and a volunteer is unpaid. A person who offers their services for nothing in return. A volunteer does not receive pay.

Yes, bear you are right because I don't believe Kerry's thinking is really that much difference on the war.
Now, we could include ALL the members of congress who have children and grandchildren. I believe I heard there was one member who had a child over there.
Can't speak for others but my point - the decision to go to war is much easier if it is not your child or loved one that is being put in harm's way.
Do I realize it it has always been that way - of course I do. But I do know it is way past time that we accept, 'That is the way it has always been done.' I think we have come too far along this road to just accept that we are peons and the powers that be knows what is best for us. It simply is not so.
Speaking again for myself, my loved ones are not to be sacrificed to further political or financial gain for any politician.
War is a serious thing - it should only be entered into when the person doing the ordering has as much to loose as anyone else in this country - and nothing to gain except the continued freedom of this country.

Assuming they pass their drug test, they would not last long because there is no ladies night at base tavern. I don't think the bar would be serving Jenna's favorites.

Hey NNT remember the post a couple days ago where I said that that the best and the brightest are too damn smart to run for public officea nd that this is a bed that we, the public have made? The last post would be a very good example of why I said that.
