I have something to show/tell you re security, and don't know how to reach you other than through here at AW. I think you'd really want to know about it, or I wouldn't bother you.
I can be reached through my AW box, which I've enabled. Messages sent from one "myauctionwatch" mailbox to another don't contain headers (i.e., no IP info), so they're like PMs elsewhere.
This isn't a trick or a game.

I am not registered at TOP any more, so no, I can't. I wouldn't put you to the trouble but I think you should know about this--what this is about. It doesn't impact you directly but it could, and I want you to see it for yourself because I know we share some of the same concerns re privacy.
BTW, it does not have to do with TOP.

I'd really like to avoid that, for reasons I don't want to say here. But I think I have a way to do this, I just don't have my links with me now. If you're going to be around tonight (til 2AM), post back to this thread when you're online. I can set up a live IM-style thing (non-AOL, private, no headers) that would work for this. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to convey the info and double-check with you that you were able to access it and see what I see. So just post to this thread when you're available, if you're willing. Any time from 9 on is good.
And it's not another Atlantis.

Sbunny, I'm very pleased. If you come across a cheap copy of The Sadeian Woman, jump.
Spaz, listen, it's an FYI thing, and there is no problem to you personally. But it's something you should know about. I want you to see it because I have to do something about it, and it won't, hopefully, exist within the near future. I can't go to TOP and I can't set up the chat thing because I don't have the right link with me and I have to go offline pretty soon anyway.
If I can't get the thing set up tonight, I'll do a fallback, so please bear with. Unlike some people who promise to get back to you on Thursday, I will. And I won't do anything about fixing the problem til you've gotten to see it.

Here's the thing -- I won't be very available tonight. Like I said, I think I have my e-mail here at AW activated (although every time I hit the "Compose" button it boots me right back to the friggin AW Log-In page, no matter how many times I log in.

Spaz -- a whois search on the numbers krs posted turned up no match. Of course I probably did it wrong. 
(Spaz never emails me. I may have to pout.)

Spaz -- I do a search at a place I've bookmarked as "whois" which can do an IP to address translation and tell you who owns it as well.
Clearly mine isn't as wonderful as Kelly's.
