Isn't funny how the left's mantra of "we want change" is only if the change is for them...
Thier claim of the good for all is pure BS...

They were against the federal governement to "change" the constitution and let the states decide about homosexual marriage... the states have decided and now who is the first to run to the courts...

they don't want to see crosses or ten commandments on buildings that have been there decades... but still complain when they are moved...

There is no pleasing these people... but I think this election should be an eye opener to them... people are not with them and more and more are becoming "against" them...

lol! Now there is a true statement if I ever heard one!! The only pleasure they know of is propagating their misery onto others!!
You know that slogan they had? Help is on the way, or hope is on the way? It could never catch on, because not one of them liberals want to believe in any help or hope. They are much happier being dissatisified and they got exactly what they wanted.

I run into democrats just about everyday and it seems the only change they want is spare change.

Yes, they want change alright...to have everything their way.

I watched hillary being interviewed yesterday and found it laughable after the dems have a hissy fit over changing/amending our Constitution on marriage. When asked whether she thinks the electoral college should be changed.....she said yes, she believed it was and old law antiquated law that had outlived is usefulness. So...she's willing to change our whole election process....for her own reasons...and that's okay. But if she/they're against any proposal....the Constitution SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT BE TOUCHED.
---

The dems are going to be seeing some BIG changes in the next four years....and I expect they'll be fighting each and everyone ..tooth and nail.

It does look like we just might be seeing a new 'face/mask' on the party leaders though. They've decided they need to make some serious party changes.

I think you have it backwards Linda. If you look at the ones that talk about change on this board it is those on the right.

Twelve - he wants to "change" the gays so they are straight

You and the rest of the followers of Dictator Bush want change in the Middle East. You want to bring democracy into a country that does not want America dictating their polices.

The conservative right wants a change to moral values.

Take a deeper look at the facts and you will see that it isn't the left that wants change, it is the right that insists people be like them.

Q. What's the difference between the Vietnam War and the Iraq War?

A. George W. Bush had a plan to get out of the Vietnam War.

Yes, logansdad, I know you're very disappointed that each and every state where voters made their decision on gay marriage didn't work out the way you wanted it to.

And there's going to be a lot of changes that you don't agree with coming soon. That's how our voting system works.

How did that cross hurt you? Seems like this has been asked before, just worded a little differently...

twelvepole: prayer is an infliction on some. Unless of course you are doing it while sprinkling chicken blood on people. Then its a cool anti-religion religion. Didn't you read about that in the Bill Moyers post?

Linda is in denial again. You fail to see it is the conservatives clamoring for change - change everything to fit their needs.

Keep denying it.

Actually.. I kind of agree with this statement...Nero...but I don't take it as a negative..
I get worried when people become to complacent with their government.. a little dissatisfaction goes a long way in keeping your government on their toes.. and reminding them that they are our employees.. working for us.. and we can fire them if they get out of line..

As far as religion goes.. I believe that the practice of any religion should be allowed in the privacy of one's home.. imo..to be enjoyed along with other classic literature and or folklore and fairy tales....

logansdad - I don't fail to see anything....the dems had all kinds of changes they wanted to see....but the lost...so that won't happen now. Control of the Congress and the WH is going to be in Republican hands...basically.

Quit whining that your side lost. Had they won you'd be praising every change they made...that's the way the system works.

And thank God people in America have the Constitutional protection of Religious Freedom.

Who's whinning Linda. I am glad that the election is over. Yeah I don't like the fact that Dictator Bush is still in power, but I am already looking forward to 2006 when the next election process starts.

I responded to Twelve's original post claiming the left is ones wanting change and then you turned this into a post election "we won you lost" issue. Is that because you still haven't had enough time to rub in it that Bush won? Or is it because you still want everyone in American to change - so they can bow down and kiss little Georgie's A**?

Yes the Democrats what a change. While watching the DNC on "The future of the Democratic Party" on Cspan they want a candidate in 2008 that doesn't say one thing one day and change their mind the next. They want to know why 15 million dollars is still in Kerry's Campaign Fund unused. They want that turned over to the DNC. Yes they also want to know how they can change the peoples view on voting. I tried to find the article but it is only available on CD and I certainly wouldn't pay to hear those people crying about why their candidate didn't win. To me it is obvious he didn't get the vote. Voters saw through his slogan "As a young man I served in the Military" and another one "I have a plan". Plain and simple the majority of the US voters saw through him.

It might change in 2008 but by that time the Supreme Court should be settled for another 30 years and I know for sure I will not be around.

But you are so correct....especially about the USSC judges. That's one of the major reasons this election result was sooooooo important. I'm keeping my fingers crossed more than one wants to retire during the next 4 years.

Oh and by the way..I left in search of a dumber board not a more intelligent one.. but after much searching.. I couldn't find one that came close to being as dumb as this one right here.. so I decided to do you all a favor and return.. knowing how much you all missed me.. Hugs Maggie

Actually twelve, the people I know of more religious persuasion have been grumbling and grousing under their breath for a long time now. Seems to me they accepted the status quo of liberalism and went about their own business, but I think this time around they decided enough is enough and stood to fight back for what they believe is decency in standards, etc.

You know, it's funny. I keep reading all of these posts about how horrible and negative and lazy all liberals are and I have to just take a moment to say... What a load of sh*t it is that you guys spew.

Liberals are negative? Good lord, anyone mind pointing out the happy healing posts that you, our judging conservative members here have started? All I see is a bunch of finger pointing and name calling.

As for lazy and the ever irritating "all they want is handouts" posts. As someone that has been self employed for years now, created their own business without anyones help or assistance and on behalf of all hard working liberal minded people everywhere... kiss my ass.

I've never encountered a group of people so eager to exist in negativity.
