I'm not surprised. She's always been blunt when talking about her views about the U.S. You're not allowed to be blunt in politics.

P.S. Parklane, is there a contest going on for Twelve-wannabe's??

It's about time!! She's an anti-American Canadian liberal who's done this sort of thing three or more times. About time they find someone who can control their emotions while representing their government.

Here's one quote of hers from your first link Linda -

Parrish, a hard-line abortion and ‘gay marriage’ supporter, said she was “dumbfounded” by Bush’s victory but nonetheless proceeded to say, "I guess it's a reflection of the profound psychological damage of 9/11." Parrish described Bush as a “war-like man” and said of the US, for its election of Bush, "That country is completely out of step with most of the free world."

How dare she, eh?

LOL KD- Guess like all liberals you choose to ignore all the hateful comments she made...what she called ALL American's. She says them, gets caught, then apologizes...but she's hasn't been at all sincere in her apologies and just keep making the same type of 'foot in mouth' statements. Think she'd learn...must not be too smart since she hasn't.

She deserved what she got. No one in a government position gets away with her continuing uncontrolled statements. Doesn't do a thing to promote peace between our two contries. Just causes more division.

She'll pay the price for not being more diplomatic.

This is one of her statements from 2003...and ya, how dare she?

But...three strikes, two apologies and she's out. Good!!

Angry U.S. response to 'bastards' comment

Last Updated Fri, 28 Feb 2003 14:37:29
TORONTO - For the second time in three months a CBC News Online story has provoked hundreds of mostly angry e-mails from the United States.

Carolyn Parrish The [email protected] inbox has been jammed with reaction to Wednesday's story about MP Carolyn Parrish's remarks about Americans.

"I, like many, many other Americans am sick and tired of the comments coming out of the north," writes Tom Flaker, of St. Louis, Missouri.

The Liberal backbencher made an off-the-cuff remark at the end of a media scrum on Parliament Hill, saying "damn Americans, I hate those bastards."

More angry U.S. letters came in reaction to a CBC Online story on Canadians going to Baghdad to serve as human shields, also featured on The Drudge Report.

Yes, only we Americans are allowed to mock other nations & their citizens and call them names when we dislike what they have done or stances they have taken.

Right, Linda?

Well, I'll throw in a little experience here to give a little insight on the Canadian pshche.
While traveling in Germany in 2001, I made friends with a Canadian couple. While we were in Munich viewing the historic sights from the nazi regime, someone from the US made the remark as to "wonder what would have happened if the nazis had won the war".
The Canadians reply was "well, it would have cured our French problem and your race problem". So much for the gracious, get along with everyone Canadian attitude.

Maggie, "If it's legit"

Now, that would be death for an American company. And are there any small Jeans manufactures (or whatever that thing is)?

The Dallas Morning News has a letter from a reader in France, who has placed himself on the "lottery" to leave France and imigrate to Texas. He hates the French "better than you", non-smiling attitude. Is this legit?
