maggie, do you have an msn account or do you need one to play their games? If so launch www.msn.com from firefox and check your popup blocker thingie and java and all that....

You probably have to sign into passport.

Let's rock and roll!!!!

Working on a sex farm
Trying to raise some hard love
Getting out my pitch fork
And poking your hay

Scratching in your henhouse
Sniffing at your feedbag
Slipping out your back door
I'm leaving my spray

Sex farm woman
I'm gonna mow you down
Sex farm woman
I'll rake and mow you down

Sex farm woman
Don't you see my silo risin' high
Working on a sex farm
Hosing down your barn door
Bothering you livestock
They know what I need

Working up a hot sweat
I'm scretching in your pea patch
Plowing through your beanfield
Planting my seed

Sex farm woman
I'll be your hired hand
Sex farm woman
I'll let my offer stand
Sex farm woman
Don't you feel my tractor rumbling by
by-by-byyyy

Working on a sex farm
Wolfing down some cornbread
I'm turning on the tv
Joining the grange.

Pogo is a fun game site and you can chat at the same time. They start you out with 50 game tokens and the idea, I guess, is to build up your stash of tokies and then turn them in for prizes. I've never turned mine in and I now have over 500,000 tokies. You can win actual cash also on most games but it's real hard to do. I've never won any cash there but I keep on trying.

Maggie it is like solitaire. The rules say that every game is winnable. I don't know if I believe that but I enjoy it. Very relaxing after a day in the RT. I always play a couple of games (freecell) before bedtime.

Maggie

I have the same problem. I can't figure out what's wrong. I also have a problem on some websites. I think it has to do with the java program.

Let me make it simple.

Microsoft = Evil Monopoly

MSN = Microsoft
Internet Explorer = Microsoft
Firefox NOT = Microsoft

So they fix their games not to work with it, while Yahoo doesn't care and will work with anything.

Simple huh?

All MSN related sites are optimized for Internet Exploder, they don't want you to use a GOOD browser. Forget them, java games are dumb anyway.

I won't give up Firefox, that's for sure. Everything loads faster and I haven't gotten the "page not found" thingy in a long time. I love the "tab" feature a lot. I don't have a bunch of windows open in the task bar. I hate that.

I don't think you can play the games from Firefox. Good old MSN tells you you need to have IE to play them. Yes, gotta love MicroSoft.

Now I know that you are all a bunch of old farts here on the RT! Only old farts, like my husband get up at the crack of dawn...

The only time young'uns like me have ever seen a sunrise, is when we've arrived home late..LOL

What the heck do you do at such an ungodly hour?

I am really happy with Firefox, it is cleaner, safer and faster.

BTW...have you all upgraded to 10.1? It just came out to fix some security holes..I upgraded last night.

As far as games are concerned.. I find them relaxing too. Unfortunately, I haven't found a free site where you aren't limited on how long you can play the games without being pressured to buy them. I don't want to own them.. just want to play for free!

Cheryl, I had to laugh when I read about your pet peeve with IE and all the windows open in the task bar...I hated that too!
But what made me switch to Firefox was that
some spyware had embedded itself in my active X IE files and I am running an old windows 98... well I tried everything to get rid of the annoying pop ups but Explorer wouldn't allow me to delete any of the files... unless I did a complete system restore back to factory.. which I didn't want to do... so I switched to Firefox and haven't had the problem since..

Classic, I used to play chess with my kids until they stopped letting me win! LOL

Helen, haven't opened your link yet but will as soon as I get my first cuppa coffee..
Thanks for all the help guys and gals...

I used to play chess, but had trouble thinking past 4-5 moves. It got frustrating. I did get a draw from a Grandmaster once, but it was a "round robin" (?) tournament thing and I think he wanted to get me out of the way so he could play against other, more experienced players.

I play the MSN games almost daily, usually after I check my email one last time before bed. I liked Bespelled alot, my high score is 336,340 on that.

edited because I checked my score.

Maggie, have you tried boxerjam? I think its free if you have aol, not sure if you dont. But they have some games I like. One is know it all and the other is strike a match. You get to see how much you know in alot of different catagories. They are loaded with adware though, so you need a good cleaner.

Profe51, MS and IE have come along way. You dont even use them anymore do you? They've added pop-up blockers and free virus/adware blocking tools. They automatically get targeted because they are the most widely used. If firefox ever becomes as big, they will think of programs to wreck havoc with them, too.
