Last week after dark,i was wrestling with my income tax return and 2 cute girls came to the door and asked to speak with me on some college program. They said they lived nearby .
I was in a bad mood struggling with my form and i told them i am not interested.
Now I realise i have been very rude to these 2 girls, how can I find them and invite them over for tea and hear what they have to say about college?
They are really well behaved and possibly identical twins, not sure as my glasses needed to be adjusted.

Are they from a local college? If so call the college and ask if they have special programs that the students would be going to the public to promote. Otherwise I have no idea.

Stop, they probably wanted you to buy some magazine subscriptions so they can visit the alps this summer.

You could ask your neighbors, if the girls came to their houses. Maybe it was a college prep assignment for high school students.

But really, how rude were you? I mean do you think these girls will be psychologically damaged for life?

I had a similar experience. One day I was taking a nap when a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses woke me up. I yelled at them and have felt really bad since. Do you think I should go to their Temple and beg forgiveness?

stop, quit beating yourself up. THEY came to YOU. It's a life lesson, better than any college course...they will run into rudeness, they will survive.
And, look on the bright side...they won't be back.

"They are really well behaved and possibly identical twins, not sure as my glasses needed to be adjusted."

If you were not dreaming...as KD suggested, maybe you were seeing double with your mal adjusted glasses.

In any event, blame the IRS.
