Anybody watch these? I would love to see the old timer Saturday night live crew do a take- off on them! Between congress fawning over the baseball players, to Mark McGuire just saying, "I'm retired", I bet it would be a very funny piece. (I could see Dana Carvey doing Waxman :0) )
I did not see the part of the families whose kids died from steroids, though. But I know down here we had a few athletes just drop dead from heart attacks etc. right on the field, so it's a pretty serious problem.
I kept waiting for one of them to ask if they felt some of the responsibility was on the owners as they pressure the players for more hits, bigger statistics, etc? They never did.
