Thanks yellowstone - I did google his name but the only David Gauch that came up with "A" as his middle initial....was a link to his military records.
I just wondered what jack meant when he said he was within 15 feet from 'him'. It's been quite a number of years since we visited the VN memorial in DC, and a couple of years since viewing the 'traveling VN memorial'....but we could touch it...and did...we were that close.
I was just joking around to get more information out of Jack. Semper Fi

No I googled it and it is his, for the lack of words, sort of an obitutary. He was 21 when he was killed in Viet Nam.

Yes, Jack, I'd like to hear also.
You know there are several web sites where you can view the VN Memorial AND read all the names that are on it, right? Some are better than others....but all honor our fallen soldiers.
