What's the deal? I haven't visited the RT in a while and see no discussions of his "illness," his inability to walk easily, why he was accompanied by a dr. in a scrub suit today in court, etc. Probably you all have discussed him to death and are tired of it?

No roadsmith that is one person we haven't attacked. Yes, I did notice him this morning but since that is the only time I saw him I can't say anything.
I think in one thread we discussed if he was guilty or not. It was in a thread that included Robert Blake.

I personally believe he's in the middle of some kind of mental breakdown. He's a fragile man and not raised with having to account to anyone for anything.
I've read there's been talk they're putting a lien on Neverland....he had to have his sister pay his bail as he's almost broke. Other's have said differently. Who knows.
He was late for court again today...he might, and I said [i]might[i] be using this as an excuse so the judge doesn't do as he's threatened....put in in jail.
I feel sorry for him in a way. I still can't make up my mind if this is all 'false' charges by a family looking to get some money from him....or if because he's so 'different' these things have happened. It doesn't surprise me that he better relates to children than he does adults though.

Linda, to me, him being a performing child star, he did have constant high expectations on him. I've read the father was very strict with all of them, and they were his cash cow, so they practiced and everything revolved around their music career. Michael Jackson himself has said he felt he never had a childhood or a normal life as so much pressure on them to 'perform' well. On the fragile part; he seems fragile now, but looking back at some of his powerful lyrics, and dance moves, he didnt seem so to me. But he has personally declined from what he once was, too.

Not for all his money would I want the life he's had. He had virtually no childhood. All the years we were fortunate enough to spend just being children, he was working (and I think more to support his father than anyone). On the days my family took me to the beach or to an amusement park, he spent in a recording studio. What kind of life is that for a child? No wonder he's such a mess now.
I have a great deal of sympathy for him. He brought the world great music and this is how he's repaid - being sued by what I would describe as a money hungry family. I wonder how long the child involved is going to be able to keep track of his lies? The stress from all of this is probably enough to kill him. I know that I don't think I could handle it.

I agree.. he looks terrible.. and I have sympathy for him too. I just can't wrap my mind around him being a child predator...
He does look like he is having a mental breakdown. You know what they say...who ever they are, there is a fine line between genius and insanity.. He was a musical genius imo..but so darn weird.... I guess I am hoping with all of my heart that he is really innocent..maggie

What bothers me...I don't believe the man can ever get a fair trial. He's just too odd. And in our current culture, if you're odd, you're guilty.
