NearTheSea and Washintonebayer-this is mainly for you two.In another thread I said I was in the state of Washington in August of 71.I also said I had my pic taken in front of a snow capped mountain, but I didnt know which mountain it was-washingtonebayer said it might be Mt Rainer.I posted a pic there, but it was from a video tape and it wasnt very good.I finally found the original pic and posting it again. The first pic I just found. This is a parking lot where you go to some observation point to get a better look at the mountain. The second pic is of me with the mountain in the background.NearTheSea-you said you could see Mt Rainer from you window-is this the same mountain??What really amazes me is that its warm enough to wear short sleeve shirts but theres a snow covered mountain in the background,so it has to be below freezing there.I must say its beautiful country out there

As in the paintings of Leonardo Da vinci...one must always check for hidden symbolism and secret messages within the picture which may contain startling anomalies which seem to be whispering the same cryptic message and hints of the shocking secret that is constantly on the subjects mind......

I'm sorry Classy...
I thought you'd enjoy climbing those mountains!
Seriously, you were a very nice looking man and probably looked great in your uniform!
But.... and you know there always has to be a butt when I give a compliment...
But..judging from your hairline way back then.. I bet you are as bald as a bowling ball by now...or have that Friar Tuck fringe going on eh...
And guys with your shape, once they stop working and become more sedentary, get a belly and a flat ass...also known as poop droop of the pants..right.. am I right..
Never mind now is the time in your life's journey where you can relax and enjoy being loved for your mind..
smooches...

CLASSIC DAYUM don't scare the sh*t outta me, with that title, my first thought was that Rainier blew, and its overcast here this morning! LOL!!
I don't know, it could be the the south side? of Mt Rainier?
Do you remember if it was called Paradise where the parking lot is there? Thats what used to be a resort, and its where most people do park, when just going closer to the mountain. Course you can hike the thing! All the time Mountain climbers are getting hurt, lost or killed up there.
We view Mt Rainier looking South South east at it (damn I'm bad at geography LOL)
hey classic, dig the striped pants!
I'll see if I can get a pic, a good one, if it clears today, but today is also DOCTOR & Medical stuff day! ugh

I was thinking that the second picture might also be St. Helens before eruption judging by photo's from when my Mother lived there, but it also looks a lot like Rainer from the picture that I took from the airplane two years ago when we flew down to Oregon from Seattle.

Stone, thats the Mt Rainier we see on a clear day. When its totally clear, the mountain seems SO CLOSE and HUGE, its amazing.
But then I know I have older pics of when we did go to Paradise or around there, and the view of Mt Rainier from the other side does look different.
Great pic Stone! I know when I would fly into Seattle, the pilot would always announce 'thats Mt Rainier on your left' or something like that, because it is a huge Mt.

If you get to take a pic, I would love to see it.I dont know if they called it Paradise-its been so long now.
Hope everything is working out well for you
Maggie-despite what ya think,I dont think I have changed all that much.Like you,Im still fairly skinny. As I said in one your threads months ago,I still work out in the gym 3-5 times a week, depending on my mood.Im sending a pic that was taken a year ago July,a month before I retired-I was 58 1/2 here.We were at a Polo match and one of my co-workers took this pic.Im glad you mentioned "classics" hair line-its almost exactly the same-although Im greyier now and not so blond -hey growing old sucks what can I tell ya??

maggie! no! LOL! And that was taken 23, 24 years ago, or longer? LOL!
My babies are the cutest Trisha still has that hair, strawberry blonde, long, and spirared! naturally! She uses a staightener once in awhile, because she doesn't like the curls, and I tell her 'women pay GOOD money to have hair like that!'
