My father called and said Tuxy came home briefly in the afternoon. Then my mother called and said he came home briefly in the early evening.
He looks like he is being feed. No injuries.
I think he found himself a second home. In that case I am having new tags made ASAP. I wish there was a tracking device for cats.
Of course he does not know what grief he has put my mother and I in !
Thank you guys for cheering me up and giving me encouragement. I will be there for you if needed.

Miis J - good to hear. My little monster was cat napped on Mothers Day last year and has not been seen since. I know what they have been going thru.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

That's GREAT news...I'm happy for you.
And it proves the profe was correct in what actions cats sometimes take.

Great news! I think you should beable to chip your cat. That is a tracking device only to animals so far. (not you classic) Maybe not available in your area though.

Libra, remember when there was talk, not so long ago here, about chipping your kids? Did that ever go anywhere? I think it's a great idea for pets!

We had our Golden chipped. Cost of $75.- If the pound gets an animal they check for chips, each is individual and registered to the owner online or an (800) number. There is also a yellow tag (size of his license with the information. I also have a tag with my phone number on him. He once went walk about but only got three blocks when somebody called. I hadn't realized he was out.

He goes on walkabouts, get used to it. I had a cat once that didn't move with us, he said he had an established territory. I'd go over off and on for about five years, while I had my state job, and he would eat some lunch with me while I parked in front of the church down the street. I probably should go look him up. His granddaughter lives with us.

Very glad to hear your cat has returned. You have to remember...he is a cat and will do exactly what he wants to do. We don't own cats...they own us.

Mom and Dad tell me Tuxy is stopping by daily but does not stay long. I wonder what his "other home" has that makes him spend more time there.
My mom wants to know how to make him stay home(besides locking him up).
Here is a link to his pictures and bio if anyone is curious http://www.catster.com/pet_page.php?j=t&i=126832
Have a nice weekend!
