Kraft I've been thinking of that woman played by Gilda Radner...Leticia somebody(?)....she'd get a word in the news wrong...then rant and rave about it until Jane Curtain set her straight and then she'd say "Nevermind".
Reminds me of someone in here.....

lol kraft-that went right over MY head LOL
we had a trooper at work who was quite a jokester. When we wanted vacation, personal leave day,or had a sick day-we had to fill out a pre-printed form
with your last name, first name, rank and shield number.
on the name he would put in
Meoff,Jack-
he submitted it to the Sgt who brought it back to him and ask him why he put someone elses name there--went right over his head.

I haven't watched much SNL since the 1970's. It was my favorite show back then. Gilda Radner, Chevy Chase, Dan Belushi, Garrett Morris, Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtin and Laraine Newman had to be the funniest people on TV at the time. I think I stopped watching it around 1980 when things started changing with the show. I watched a show here and there since then, but it just doesn't seem the same.

I agree, Cheryl, the old SNL was the best....John Belushi in the bee costume! Samurai Swordsman!
Chevy Chase just LOOKED funny!
The music was great!

How about Barbara Wawa or Roseanne Roseannadana? Too, too funny! When Gilda Radner died, we lost a great comedienne.
