I am curious as to what should be done besides just pissing and moaning about Bush did this, Bush did that; So what? Guess all the other presidents before were as pure as the driven snow?
I have yet to see anyone say what should be done with this president and administration or is it just feel good ranting?

LOL Ron...I'd love to hear their answers on this one.
They're doing no different than they party leaders...they're doing nothing different than the left-leaning MSM articles are doing....
and that's complain, whine and keep throwing accusations at this administration.
They have nor do they offer ANY suggestions on ANY issue. Their party leaders call on their ranks to obstruct all issues. Keep this administration from doing anything that will benefit Americans. fillibuster....obstruct...etc.
It's because they have no IDEAS to offer....so they blame.
President Bush would like to get on with finding solutions to the important issues...they're just not going to allow it, if at all possible. But, in one way...I guess...it's good...will surely guarantee us a few more seats in Congress come 2006.

yadda yadda yadda. My god do you have any idea how many similarities you have come to bear to a broken record of late? There was a point in time when you could respond to a point without sounding like a preprogramed broken record but lately it's like you have become an internet version of a Chattie Cathy Doll. Pull your string and get one of three phrases ...
Left Leaning Media...
All these Lefties...
Liberal Socialists...
When did this place stop being a discussion board start being an audition for Fox News commentators?

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

oh yeah, fenix, like you dont do your share of grandstanding here? please! I was wondering if there was any other boards you could have showcased your prowess on "Mark Felt" -- as I am sure you would have gotten much better feedback than here?? But what do you want from a bunch of ebay and ex-ebay sellers? (Oh I forgot, brain surgery, right?)
Now cant say I watch fox news much... but I am sure love does go where my rosemary goes, and nobody knows like me! So sorry if were not smart or creative enough for you!
Where's that french faux pas when you need one? How about mea culpa -- does that jazz up your cup of tea? How bout some spearmint or doublmint...sorry were all out of key lime today

Yea, like there was a point in time where YOU would address the topic without only popping in to post your personal insults too.
When did this place stop being a discussion board start being an audition for Fox News commentators?
From what you post here, you probably watch/listen to Fox News more than I do. Who'd guessed.
But to answer....it stopped when the lefties stopped answering questions put to them....and started to just come here to complain and whine.
Why don't YOU address Ron's topic question, fenix?

Here is a couple of my ideas on this.
Up coming elections, do not vote for the regular two party crap. Do not vote for an incumbent, do not be swayed by the here and now, look forward to what might be.
Write and write often to your representative in congress let them know how you feel and what they intend to do about it.

Ron - While I'm not clear on if you're speaking about 2006 or 2008...when you said 'upcoming elections', but I think that's a terrible idea. There are some in office who are doing a great job...if all did as you suggest...we'd have nothing but a total disaster on our hands.
And I found that until the 3rd parties get MUCH bigger, stronger...people voting a 3rd party candidate, like I did in 2000, are just throwing their votes away.
This is no time for anyone to be 'throwing' their vote away just to 'shaking things up'.

Linda - I didn't answer the question because I don't think that it really applied to me. Unless I have an alternate personality that posts on this board without my knowledge I don't think that any of the "pissing and moaning about Bush" can be attributed to me.
I haven't really seen the point in taking part in it. It's not like we need to convince anyone of anything about him, he's gone at the end of this term. What's the point? Hopefully people see and remember the mistakes of the past but is there any literate person left in America today that doesn't already know that the country was mislead about Iraq? Hell, even Bush has admitted that, but like so many here, when proven wrong simply changes the justification.
There is fine line behind enforcing a point and beating a dead horse. And in my opinion, it has long been passed.

Each person has the opportunity to read/view information from a multitude of different sources and come to their own conclusions. The more the public becomes informed and the more they speak out on issues that they dont approve of or they believe limit their freedoms, the better it will be for all in the long run.
This not only concerns what is happening in the US but within all governments...... there is corruption and scandals many places. There may be a few that will support something just for the sake of their party or their leader but they shouldnt expect everyone else to do that.

Oh I see...it didn't apply to you ... so instead you come in here and ream me but no one else. Thanks.
Perhaps you haven't noticed but I'm usually the one who's actually reponding to the topic....UNTIL the crap starts.
And believe it or not there are millions of American's who don't believe Bush lied to them. For all the zillion reasons I've stated in the past.
It's the left that just can't handle not being in power. But if they continue acting/behaving like they are....they're going to enjoy more time out of the government loop.

You know what, Linda? I have been eye'ing this and (similarly saying what their problem is) for a while now myself. They dont grasp it.

God Linda - you are so right. I had no idea what this thread was about but I thought to myself.... Hey, Maybe Linda will once again have made a recitation on "All these Lefties" or the Liberal Left Wing Media" and I rip on it.
Or maybe, the inability to read four consecutive posts on this board without still again encountering this litany of washed up cliches finally got to me and I decided to say something.

As I said, dbl, the tides they are a changin'.
While they're fond of using the most recent polls of his popularity, what they're neglecting to notice are the polls that show the ultra-left is totally out of touch with the majority of American voters. Polls are beginning to reflect that voters are again seeing their obstructionism too - and they don't like it one bit. They want our elected officials to get busy doing the work of the people...not all this bickering that prevents those who WANT and are TRYING to do what they're paid to do...from doing it.
Like I've said before....if they can't offer their own solutions...then at LEAST get the heck out of the way so something CAN be accomplished.

That's your problem...not mine.
And while I have many lefties commenting to me...I will answer those that I wish to in the way that I wish to.
If it gets on your nerves, perhaps you should figure out just how the ignore button works.
Otherwise go complain to someone who cares. I don't.

You know, dbl, maybe what finally sent her over the edge was all my Ann Coulter quotes about liberals yesterday.
Or could have been because she's feeling frustrated no one cared enough to argue/debate with her in her DT thread.
[shrug] Who knows and who cares....just another leftie that can't handle opposing opinions...so makes it personal. They'd like to silence the right....but they can't. ~~~~~~~~~~

Another thread that Linda_k trashed because she felt threatened by her inferior knowledge on the topic and her inability to defend Nixon and also relate Clinton's blow job to it ....... all while she tried to absorb what Fenix was posting and was unable to.
The sheer brilliance of someone in her 30's who can actually think and speak her own thoughts.... going up against a clueless 'old foggie' was very amusing to read.

If that is what makes you comfortable then you go with the Linda.
Are you even able to make a post anymore where you don't end up reciting the same ole cliche terms? Can you address an individual as such anymore as opposed to having to assign a label and lump them in with some little compartmentalized group?

Linda, I think you need to start posting for the readers, instead of for yourself. Perhaps if you pamper fenix's irritability spell a bit, she will get over her bad mood and quit demanding you post your words to suit her so she's not bored here. What a huge onus on you, Linda!! Wanting for fox news?!! Dare I say. Keep it fresh...keep it live, keep it real...keep it coming! Spin your head for fenix!

fenix - I will repeat myself again, as I have already said this to you more than once.
I normally post to the topic. I don't start the insults but I take them from almost every leftie here.
And yes, as I have stated in the past, I only believed two dems who posted here were moderates, you and the profe. And with your very recent posts to me changing and his too, I'm re-evaluating that postion I've long held. I respected that the two of you were much different than those who have no ability to control themselves in debate.
Imo, it has been YOU that is choosing to identify with that label...rather than ME being the one placing it on your shoulders.
But if you are with the other liberals here who think they're going to silence my speech...silence my TOTAL SUPPORT FOR THIS ADMINISTRATION - then you're sorely mistaken, because you're not.
This thread was not about me. But you liberals are making each thread about me...whenever I express my positions or opinions. In each and every thread. So don't come complaining to me, that you're tired of hearing my statements....I listen to your side X10 - X15...to my one. That's life.

Linda - when in this thread have I attempted to silence your speech or hinder your support for Bush. All I said is that you are beginning to sound like a robot, not because of the concepts that you believe in but becasue you no longer defend or support your beliefs. These days, rather than debate the topic, you assign labels and attack on the grounds of general beliefs as opposed to the topic at hand.
In this thread you didn't even wait for someone to post anything before you started in. I didn't make this thread about you Linda - you did that when you went on the attack of anyone who might possible have an opinion that conflicted with your belief system before they even had the opportunity to voice it.
