Odd... Clinton was impeached (as in past tense action taken) while Bush is about to see the light of what an impeachment looks like. I went to Google and did a search for both. Here are the results...
Impeach Clinton: 231,000
Impeach Bush: 568,000
Freedom is on the march... Bush will be impeached!!!

Rusty, while it would be just plain old-fashioned fun to see bush impeached I don't think it will happen.
And I don't know if I'd care to see it because then DICK(F---Off) Cheney would be pres.
Besides bush is only the puppet not the puppet master.

Cheney's already being talked about as a candidate, I don't see the bonus in giving him a head start.

Oh, don't be surprised when it happens.
From what I have read, Impeachment wouldn't be restricted to Bush, but also Dick Cheney since they were both involved in planning and promoting a war based on lies. Cheney would be the more obvious target too because of his involvement with Haliburton.
The current strategies are to begin the process now and if the Democrats can take back the House, they would have enough support to finalize it. I've also heard discussions that the process would also elimate cabinet positions held by slimy advisors such as Rumsfeld and Rice.

Heaven help this country if Cheney gets reins. He is about as crooked as they come. After I saw those debates the last election, it was quite apparent that Cheney was running this company through Bush. Cheney tells Bush how to do everything. The Bible belt wanted them and now they got 'em. I've heard no one is a Christian now unless they are Republican! I sure didn't vote for them.

You are right Pat, PHONIES like Bush,Cheney,DeLay,Frist and Santorum all waive the Bible for votes. Once in power they screw everybody except the rich. In 2006 here in Pennsylvania we are going to kick Santorum's AZZ out of office.
2006 is going to be the beginning of a better AMERICA FOR ALL.

Hmmm according to the polls, Casey has dropped from a 14 point lead to a 7 point lead over Santorum, not very promising with over a year left before the elections.

If the Government doesn't quit wasting money and spending more than it takes in, It won't matter who is President, this country will be sitting in a Depression. Keep this in mind, when the interest rate climbs high enough the US will be totally broke including Social Security and Medicare. The tax cuts Bush is giving is speeding up the pace.

The tax cuts President Bush would like to see made permanent help GROW our economy. They have since he got them passed ....and they always have, historically.
The dems prefer raising taxes....I, and millions of others, think we're paying enough already.
----
But I think this talk about impeaching President Bush shows just how desperate some in the dem party really are. Can't win the election...then work towards impeaching him - for WHAT? who care...just impeach him. dream on liberals....dream on.

And why the American Voters chose to RE-elect President Bush to four more years. YES!!!

Linda we pay more than enough in taxes, some here seem to be forgetting that the ones they tout in congress were also receipents of that tax cut.
We spend too much on social programs, which the federal government should not be involved in.
The states should be funding these programs if they want them for their people.
Also we have dragged ourselves into a war that some refuse to put a plan to. Everytime someone mentions a time table, this administration gets nervous. It would not be out of the ordinary to have us give the Iraqi government a time frame for withdrawl and force them to handle thier country, now free.
There is not a chance in hell that this right wing dictatorship will be impeached. Now, the executive, the media, the Judiciary and Congress are controlled by one radical right wing group. There is little chance of any change since the voting system is as crooked as the administration now in office.
The founding fathers who conscientiously designed a plan for balanced government are rolling over in their graves.

Some here forget about the ultra-rich and their big tax cut...right at a time when we have a huge WAR to PAY FOR !
And, no, SOME here have not forgotten that those they tout also got a tax break because of their wealth.
Doesn't make it right so what's your argument ?
Those that don't want their taxes raised to pay for bringing "Democracy" to Iraq are sure un-American and are NOT supporting the troops , our veterans and the things they need
THIS "social program" will cost trillions and your great grand children will still be paying....

Helen? the 2004 Federal Election? I don't know about that, but I AGREE WITH YOU, in
our state, we had 3 counts of the ballots for govener, and damned if she (Gregoir) would not take no for an answer. Everyone knows that Rossi won. We had fraud and deceased people voting, and extra ballots show up that were never counted. Yep WA voting was crooked.

Among the miasma of controled and cowering media in the service of our current dictatorship there is an occassional beacon of light....
A nation that just a few years ago was obsessed with fudging over sexual trysts by one president seems unconcerned about evidence of lying by another to justify a war that has cost the lives of more than 1,700 American service members, killed tens of thousands of Iraqis and cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars.
Like a 2,000-pound elephant in the room that everyone tries to ignore, the Downing Street Memo will stay until it is acknowledged and dealt with. It will not go away without a thorough congressional investigation.

Funny how that works doesn't it??? A conservative perspective... Put the blame on Gregoir... Last time I checked it was both Gregoir and Rossi who were battling it out in Washington courts, not just Gregoir as NeartheSea wants everyone to believe.
The only difference between the two candidates was that Rossi pushed Gregoir to concede when she was on the losing end of the votes, and then when the recount showed Gregoir was in the lead, Rossi and the Republicans cried their way through the courts. A bit hypocritical, don't you think?
The point I am making... Both parties/candidates wanted to win, and they both did what they could to get the results needed for them to win. There obviously needs to be reform at the ballot boxes across this country, whether it be Washington, Ohio, Florida or wherever. Neither side will trust the results as long as the elections continue to be so close. The important thing is for winning candidates to understand that and make the necessary adjustments so that elections are fair and we can put faith in the fact that each vote will be counted and rules and regulations are followed accurately and consistently.
If you are so concerned about election fraud in your state, then you need to get more involved in your elections and call your representatives at all levels, whether Republican, Democrat, Independent, etc and let them know how you feel about it. Posting complaints on the RT is great, but do you think your public officials read them here? I sincerely doubt it.

Since you know this case so well, Rossi 'pushed'? Gregoire to concede? No she never conceded. In fact the Sec of State CERTIFIED Rossi after the 2nd recount.
She and the Dem party raised money for a THIRD recount.(by law) And they were certainly remimbursed for that money that was donated for it
That 3rd recount had her in the lead of 129 votes. What a landslide victory

Proof of another neocon disecting a sentance and spinning it. Where did you learn that tactic, FOX NEWS???
I never said Gregoire conceded. I said she was pushed to concede by Rossi and the Republicans when Rossi was in the lead. I believe Rossi used similar words like ,"for the better of Washington" in an attempt to pursuade Gregoire to concede. Yet, when the final recount was finalized, Rossi and the Republicans couldn't take their own advice and concede. Nope, they attempted to battle it out in the courts that ruled that even though there were unresolved problems throughout the state of Washington in such a close election, neither candidate or party was guilty of fraud. It is nothing more than typical Republican hypocritical tactics.
I don't have a problem with Rossi and the Republicans fighting it in the courts. That is their legal right to do so, just as it would be for Gregoire. However, what I do have a problem with is the fact that the Republicans want others to follow their agenda, but can't take their own advice themselves when it applies to them.
