Get me kicked off, as well, at this point I hardly care. Whoever you are, you've done a fine job of getting people kicked off who say things you don't like. Boo hoo hoo. What's the problem? Can't find the "ignore" button? Is your halo on too tight? You may not care what I think of you, but I'll tell you anyway. I think you are a whiny child whose panties are in a bunch. I think you are the child in the sandbox who cries to their mommy if another child dares touch your toys. I think you belong in a country where what you say will get you shot not in a country where we are still free to express ourselves. I think you are a total azz in need of a wake-up call. You've been living in an alternate world too long. I may not know who you are, but I know what you are and you disgust me.

If Vendio is going to do these things, maybe they should just bring the monitors back instead of hiding them behind a curtain. We are, after all, entitled to face our accusers. Enjoy your RT. I'm going back to the EO, where people are more likely to act like adults and not children in a sandbox.

BTW, you'll notice that Crowfarm isn't posting anymore. Congratulations, you got your way. How dare anyone oppose you and your opinions. Doesn't sound like a Democrat to me. And, if Vendio wants to kick me off for this post, that's okay. Pulling my business from them will save me money every month.

Well I applaud whomever stood up and reported someone they felt was ruining their enjoyment of this forum.
You wouldn't act like that in public why should you be allowed to act like that in here?

Wasn't me or I would tell I have certainly made it clear on my point of view on this issue.

"Going back to the EO" where they act more like adults? You mean where they don't put up with the name calling and childish behavior?

Once again I applaud whomever you are.

Cheryl. the only one to blame for craw being banished (again) is craw. I don't approve of anyone being snitched on either, had craw toned down her personal attacks on other posters she wouldn't have ben suspended.

How would you feel if your were on the receiving end of her constant insults, slurs and demeaning comments. But I forgot, she only attacked those who views she opposed. I never once saw her attack one of the liberal posters.

She got what she deserved.....again.

Cheryl, I am sickened to think that among us is someone so weak that they would have to resort to "the most despicable childish act of running to squeal in protest of another's posting."

The idea that someone could be that spineless and insecure with themselves,by being unable to abide the opposing views of others, would shame them-self by this cowardice act is beyond my comprehension.

Crowfarm was not popular with some here on the RT because of her forthright, in your face, manner of posting. She upset others because her clear thinking, common sense, and vast knowledge and intelligence intimidated those who couldn't compete with her intellectually.

On the other hand she is very popular and well liked by the majority who post here for the very same reasons mentioned above.

And Ron..I can only hope that others read your post above and get the same urge as I did when reading it ...the urge to bring my shoe down hard and squish a cockroach as it scurries in dark places.

If you are reading this post Crow..you will be missed. Maggie

Thanks maggiemuggins, that is the urge I got whenever I read a crowfarm post, but was willing to leave it alone as it was not directed at me.

Some people are not posting here for free and should have a right to expect an adult board free of childish antics directed at them.

So I still applaud whomever it was. Will make this board better in the long run.

No..Ron..you are incorrect. No one is paying for the right to post on this board. I was informed by Vendio personally that this is a free board unpaid for by fees and that it is regulated by their sole discretion and judgment.

I hope you enjoy the board,Ron..I'm sure there will be some that may even enjoy your posts, unlike myself who feels slightly soiled after reading them.. but to each his own..

Incidentally, Bear, you sling the dirt yourself quite well, I find it laughable that you point the finger at Crow..while you do the same thing over and over again..
Does anyone have any idea what Crowfarm posted that resulted in her suspension? I don't see any missing posts or threads?

The RT has always been a board with some conflict and opposing opinions as well as posters that come and go over the years.

Anyone who thinks it will make the board better by having snitches throwing tantrums and reporting anyone who offends their delicate senses needs a wake-up call.

If they can't ignore the person in their mind or use a simple ignore button, they aren't adult enough to be here in the first place and should go find that perfect arena they so desire.

It's silly for anyone to even entertain the thought that they could arrive at a board and expect it to change and some of the posters to change just to suit their standards.

Only in self defense from craws personal attacks.

Craw knew where the line on attacks was drawn and chose to ignore the rules, so shes paying the prive again.

Maggiemuggins, whether I am using vendio's photo storage or other not I am charged a min of $2.95/mo for the use of vendio, that includes these message boards, so you better check your source again.

For those grousing about the loss of this person, you should ask yourselves why do you keep posting here if this board is evolving into something you don't like?

My goodness, one day there may actually be adult discussion here.

I'm sorry but that is a load of crap. The only difference between Crow and 12 year old is Crow uses bigger words and the 12 year old shows more maturity.

Cheryl, I missed it too. What did she do that was worth reporting her?

Ron, it just so happens that I did check my sources and in fact saved the email that Vendio sent to me after my last vacation, when I inquired why I had been suspended..

Here is the letter they wrote to me.

Dear XXXXXX,

We do not charge for our message center and therefore we cannot devote a
great deal of time or resources to managing or reviewing message center
threads. We expect our members to abide by the terms in our User
Agreement. If you post in a manner considered inappropriate by our
staff, your posting privileges may be permanently or temporarily revoked
at any time, with or without notice. We reserve the right to revoke
your privileges for any or no reason. We do not have time to review
every issue, and if we do review an issue, we do not consider any other
member's posts or anything that has been posted in the past in our
review. We do not claim to enforce "fair" or even distribution of
posting privilege suspensions.

Ms.Fenix..I know you and Crow have butted heads before. I have great respect for you and Crow both and imo you both share the same basic political ideology..the only difference is in the way you present it.

Yes, DBl.. she notified us of her suspension.

WashingtoneBayer, seems like you signed up for a basic image hosting plan. There's no charge for posting messages here.

Vendio doesn't distinguish between image hosting and message forums.

When I signed up, I was not offered a choice of not paying.

I have no idea what Crow said and neither does she. They just suspend you. So, if they don't tell you why how are you going to know what the offense was? There are other posters on this board that get nastier than Crow ever did.

Bear

You sling a lot of crap that offends me. Do you see me crying to Venio? No. I ignore your comments and move on. Like an adult.

Ron

YOU DO NOT PAY TO POST TO THIS BOARD. Sorry for shouting, but you don't seem to get it. Maggie posted their response to her. To get rid of the cost, you need to actually email Vendio to tell them to discontinue the charge. There's no option anywhere to discontinue it. I was getting the same charge at one time and am now not getting it.

Dbl

Yes, I have been in contact with Crow. We have things we discuss outside of this board. She really is a nice person and so is Maggie.

Still doesn't change the fact that people should be held accountable as adults when posting here, not adolescents.

But as I have some picture in image hosting, and use Vendio this part of my package.

I am curious as to everyone here can claim they have never talked to vendio about another poster? ever?

Ron, if you go into your personal preferences and uncheck the photo imaging option, Vendio will not charge anything. And you still have access to the message boards.

Bear - I think they changed it in the past year or so. We grandfathered in on the free plan but there is no longer a way to register without paying some kind of fee. there is no way to get away from it within the new options. Apparently you have to actually contact them and request posting privileges only.

One thing worse than mealy-mouthed tattletales are those in control who
listen to such infantile wimpering and then act on their snitchreports. Crowfarm did nothing to warrant suspension.

Thanks Cheryl. If the tattler wants us to all be mature, then I'm sure he/she will be mature and honest enough to tell us who they are and not hide.

Guess Vendio showed you how much your opinion is worth.

Fenix, I'm still not sure about that, though you may be right.

I opened another account with Vendio less that 4 months ago (no I don't post here under that name, nor will I ever), and I was given the option to opt out on the photo hosting. Vendio charges too much for it, especially when I can use my own server space.

I guess this in the letter Maggie received tells the story.

I will tell you Cheryl you said use the ignore button. I had Crowfarm on ignore for over two weeks. It was a very pleasant 2 weeks I must say Kiara kept at me and at me because she said I didn't. So you see the ignore button doesn't work.
