You know as well as I that as long as the Bush family does business with the Saudis, they will remain our "friends". I'll bet the Saudis spend each and every day laughing at how gullible the leaders of this country are. Like some priests, they are very good at hiding their true nature behind their robes.
I have a friend who is from Syria. Mention Saudis to him and he cringes. It is his feeling that the roots of all evil in the middle east begin and end with the Saudis. Afterall, isn't that where bin Laden is from??
