There's a conspiracy going on in the Canadian government - has been for years and I feel it's my duty to call attention to it. It's regarding drivers license photos. Who are these stern, old, ugly people they substitute for the real photos of us? Do they honestly think nobody will catch on to them applying computerized crows-feet and droopy eyelids just so they can all have a big laugh at our expense? Do you know ANYONE, including yourself, who hasn't opened that dreaded Ministry of Transport envelope, looked at the picture, and said, "What the...?"

In California we have an entirely different problem. My wife's DL photo looks like her kid sister. Only problem is, she is an only child.

My last two ID photos have been captioned "Mass Murderer escapes: News at 11:00" and "Do I LOOK like a people person?"
I don't know if it was bad days or irritation at the whole DMV process but I look flat out mean and angry. On an upside, I don't usually have problems at the airport once it.

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

I can't explain how they can take an exceedingly beautiful subject such as myself
and produce an unrecognizable photo. Are the cameras equipped with distorted lens?
So, I've found a solution....wear a burka to the Department of Motor Vehicles.!

LOL Twig. That's not me! It's a google immage.
This topic reminded me of a story last year about a woman who insisted on wearing her Burka when she had her driver's license photo taken. I don't know how that case was finally resolved.

It used to be that way here in MN, but we have gone to the digital age about 4 years ago. Now when your picture is taken, they show you right there and then to see if it turned out resonable. If not, it is a simple click of the delete button and they do a retake. Granted, it's not Glamour Shots, but the photo are much better than the old days.

Stone, be careful, be very careful about stating you are in Mn, Craw/Mingo/Dingo will accuse you of stalking her.
