Ed Schultz Show goes to Crawford
Larisa Alexandrovna

The Ed Schultz Show will be heading to Crawford Texas to broadcast its Wednesday and Thursday show a few miles from Camp Casey, Raw Story has learned.

According to Ed Schultz, the host of the Ed Schultz show and one of the biggest voices in progressive radio, the show is going to show support for Cindy Sheehan. "We are going for our listeners, there are a lot of people from across the country who want to be [in Crawford, Texas] but can't be there," said Schultz in a conversation with Raw Story earlier today.

Cindy Sheehan, the mother of fallen solider Casey Sheehan - killed in Iraq in April 2004 - has spent the last ten days holding vigil near the Crawford, Texas ranch of President Bush, who has taken a five week vacation.

The location where Cindy has set up vigil has been called Camp Casey and has been joined by military families and veterans from across the nation as well as local vigil areas, also called Camp Casey in cities from Boston, MA to Portland, Oregon.

Schultz stands in solidarity with Cindy and what he describes as the sentiment in middle America, if not the nation: 62 percent of [of Americans] believe we have the wrong policy in Iraq,” said Schultz. "Ordinary people connect with Cindy, ordinary people who cannot be there," continued Schultz. "We are going on their behalf".

The show will air during its regular schedule of 3 PM EST - 6 PM EST from Crawford. When asked if the show will be taking calls from the Crawford location, Schultz chuckled and said "You bet. Our listeners can call 1-877-We Got Ed"

Rushed into the house and tried to get the station on all the radios in the house.. and couldn't get the signal.. guess I'll have to go out and sit in my car to listen to him in the afternoons.. He is great! Wonder if Etexbill is going to mosey on over to be part of his audience...LOL Maggie

And your point is?

"Why, it appears that we appointed all of our worst generals to command the armies and we appointed all of our best generals to edit the newspapers. I mean, I found by reading a newspaper that these editor generals saw all of the defects plainly from the start but didn't tell me until it was too late. I'm willing to yield my place to these best generals and I'll do my best for the cause by editing a newspaper." --Robert E. Lee

6. A controlled mass media. Under some of the regimes, the mass media were under strict direct control and could be relied upon never to stray from the party line. Other regimes exercised more subtle power to ensure media orthodoxy. Methods included the control of licensing and access to resources, economic pressure, appeals to patriotism, and implied threats. The leaders of the mass media were often politically compatible with the power elite. The result was usually success in keeping the general public unaware of the regimes’ excesses.

Very Happy Camper here! I went out and bought a really nice radio so I could pull in that station and listen to Big Ed...and it works!
Listening to him right now.. after years of only having that arrogant puffed up big jerk Limbaugh on the air, it's so good to hear a voice of reason with Big Ed.

Here in Pittsburgh one AM station just canceled two CON-servative talk shows and and replaced them with Liberal talk shows.

Maggie's song on her new radio:

On top of spaghetti,
All covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball,
When somebody sneezed.

It rolled off the table,
And on to the floor,
And then my poor meatball,
Rolled out of the door.

It rolled in the garden,
And under a bush,
And then my poor meatball,
Was nothing but mush.

The mush was as tasty
As tasty could be,
And then the next summer,
It grew into a tree.

The tree was all covered,
All covered with moss,
And on it grew meatballs,
And tomato sauce.

So if you eat spaghetti,
All covered with cheese,
Hold on to your meatball,
Whenever you sneeze..

So Big Ed likes fishing. I hear the shark fishing around the sinking ship S.S.Bush/Cheney is excellant.

Its a shame about the S.S.Bush/Cheney. It seems its owners outsourced its building to a 3rd world country for cheap labor. Once the poorly designed ship was completed. Its owners launched a voyage without planing with no destination or return date set. Plus the ship was so poorly armored that when it hit a Jelly-Fish it began sinking.

Limbaugh has been proven to be a criminal drug addict......
And a total hypocrite, he did NOT turn himself into the police , confess, and go to jail for the rest of his life like he recommended all drug addicts should have to do.

Again, you're just blowing smoke since you have never even heard Big Ed. You're afraid to listen, afraid to call him, afraid to go on his message board and speak with those people, you're just afraid .

....no touch of scandal with Bid Ed except for that speeding ticket

Obviously you don't know the difference between "afraid" and "don't care"

So how can one have a disccusion with you?

I don't care about Limbaugh either if that makes you feel better.

It is entertaiment and to treat it otherwise is dangerous. But if you must listen to someone, I recommend Larry Elder.

Age brought wisdom to that old boy.
