I wonder if after the 2008 election when another Republican President is elected, maybe even Jeb Bush, how many Liberals will leave the country??
It seems to me that there were even one or two from here that expressed an interest at leaving to Canada if Bush was reelected, why didn't they??

Did you hear/read that President Bush is trying to persuade Cheney to run in 2008? I hope so IF only for the reason that HELLen Thomas, who always reminds me of our helen when I see or hear her, said she'd kill herself if he did.
Then she got so angry that the press reported it.
----
But on topic....it's because they rarely stick to what they say...shows a lack of character, imo. Someone on here said, not too long ago, that the democrats should lie lie lie all they have to ....do ANYTHING to get elected. Think old hillary's following their advice.
"Whenever the nation is under attack, from within or without, liberals side with the enemy. This is their essence." --Ann Coulter
And why the American Voters chose to RE-elect President Bush to four more years. YES!!!

I'd really kinda hate to see Cheney run and i don't think he will because his health isn't all that good, whatwith his heart condition and all.

I agree....but do think he'd be a powerful contender....against anyone the dems would come up with. But reading the different reports about how good his health is, most likely is to turn the health issue around to the public at large.
Anyway....I did say if only - for HELLen Thomas

Pi - there is no way that Jeb Bush will get elected. He pissed off a lot of moderates with the whole Terri Shiavo affair and without moderates, you don't win. The republican party's best bet for a win is with the one man that many of them don't want.... McCain. And I think that thing that will drive the republicans crazy is that most Democrats actually respect McCain.

I get the feeling that Lynn Cheney would do more damage to Dick than his heart if he announced. I get the vibe that she's ready to just be part of an old married couple for awhile.
