I've given up on the task of finding a price guide for WWII collectiables. It just dosen't exist. So, in response to this delimma, I have seriously considered doing this task myself. Except I don't have a clue where to begin with it. All you WWII collectiable enthusists out there, let's put one of our own together. Maybey we can even make some money with it. Anyone with ideas, contact me.

I'm not a WWII collector, but last year I acquired some Japanese War Bonds and at the same time purchased a wonderful reference book called:
WORLD WAR II REMEMBERED
history in your hands, a numismatic study
by C.Frederick Schwan and Joseph e. Boling
copyright 1995, ISBN 0-931960-40-1
It covers Allies, Axis, Neutrals:
- paper money
- coins
- camp notes
- war bonds
- defense bonds
- military medals
- propaganda notes
- souvenirs
- espionage notes
I have no idea if the prices listed are realistic anymore (because of eBay) but I loved the book for the lengthy, detailed research/histories given on all the items. There are also 3,800 illustrations.

IMHO at least all price guides are a bit of a racket. They cost a bundle and are out of date even before they hit the bookstores, and where do they get those prices?? Now for identification purposes, or "really valuable" versus "piece of junk" valuations, I think they're just fine, and I think stockticker has the right attitude.
OTOH, if you want to make some money selling them to people who want to know what their stuff is "worth" (whatever that means), you'll probably do just fine selling them and their annual updates
