The media is really typing this one....and we still have another couple of weeks to go before the worst hurricane month is over.
I hope it peter's out and loses it's strength....and for all we know it may change it's direction again.
But I too wish the best for all in Florida should it strike with full force there. Boy.....what a year for stronger than normal hurricanes.

Linda no kidding!
Ron! I heard that on another message board today... something like 'Wilma, good thing she didn't bring Fred' har har
But, yes hoping it down grades quick!
And do the media make more of things? I saw it on my homepage (Netscape News) and 'breaking news' is in red, but sh*t they showed the satelitte pic, and it did look HUGE..

NearTheSea - No, not 'more' really....just constant....like it's going to happen today or tomorrow.
What I meant by that was we hear about almost nothing else for the whole week....each and every upgrade, downgrade, direction, strength.....like we have with many of them this year. By the time the day actually comes when they hit/land ...it's like anti-climactic, most times. I know people need to be warned and want to hear what's going on....but it's overkill, imho.

LOL Linda. My husband always laments that the media is made up of the most "disaster-anticipating" type of people;..that thats what makes them feel important.
