We have the democrats, with only 3 years before the next presidential election, wasting time on trials and indictments that will account to nothing and not building a candidate that can actually win.
If they plan on even making a decent showing, then now is the time to start building that winner they want to see.
I know I will vote my own party if we have someone running, but will not vote Democrat if they throw someone like Kerry up there again.

Alleged law breakers or have you forgotten Innocent until proven Guilty?
But I think you know deep down none will be convicted.
So in reality it will have been a waste of time.

Ron is the libertarian party organized enough to have a potential candidate in mind for 2008?
I agree about the democratic party needing to get organized. A few know they need to start re-building but the extreme left has taken over. The momentum needed doesn't seem to be able to take hold because of bickering within the party.

Ya, they may get off...they have the power to commit crimes and get away with it.
Everyone is innocent until proven guilty not just the highest ranking Republicans
So with your reasoning(?) you think no one should ever be prosecuted..hmmm...great plan...
Waste of time to investigate allegations of treason, money laundering, etc.,etc.....?????
and it WASN'T a waste of time (and taxpayer's money) to investigate someone's private sex life ?
Republicans...what will we do about their skewed morals...tsk, tsk ...

I don't think it matters at this point. Bush & Co have totally ruined the U.S. since taking office, so what now? Would you want to be in charge of a "peace-loving" country that's at war with everyone and is hated more and more each day by other countries because of the hypocrisy? It looks like a no-win situation to me in 2008.

LOL....not a good enough answer old maggie....though you did TRY to get out of it. Backpeddling isn't attractive on you.
Your own post/comment shows you were stereotyping black men as pimps. Your words maggie....racist and prejudiced, without a doubt.
And if you were on the 'right' helen would be attacking you for those statements right about now. But she only does that when it's a rightie. Shows her true character...along with your own.

Because I choose not to have a black man in my bed in your mind that makes me prejudice and a person of bad character!!!??
ROFLMAO...
Well, if that's the case.. yep..I sure must be prejudiced and one bad MF then.. cause that will never happen!
Pimp your ride is a TEEVEE show..didn't you know that? So you see it is you're prejudice that took it the wrong way.. ha ha
And this infantile thing you have with Helen is what is embarrassing here on the RT... she really gets to you, doesn't she.. she is light years ahead of you in intelligence and you just can't deal with everyone knowing that, can you.. hee hee...

My close to 5 year relationship with helen....hasn't changed over the years. She is more educated than I am....but that hasn't helped her win many debates/battles with me though. I speak the truth....she hasn't agreed with anything the US has done since we started posting together. That's just NOT going to happen, Ron. They have no platform....except complaining and bitching. They won't win on that.
PLUS - The majority of American's will NEVER elected a democrat who they believe won't defend this country. And even though hillary says she supports staying in Iraq until they can cover themselves.....we all know how she's lied about everything. I doubt she'll get the party nominiation.

Linda,
If the democrats would quit wasting time on windmills and found a candidate that was not John Kerry, then they do have a chance to win the next election.
We need at the very least a time line for leaving. Healthcare will still be a sore point in this next election. Economy is getting stronger but will it be enough?

I don't think so Ron. Again...being against everything is NOT a platform.
And who has the media been talking about running for the dem nomination....hillary, gore , kerry and who else? Other names no one's even heard of.
I think IF McCain runs for the Republican ticket...many moderate dems, Independents AND those who make up their mind at the last minute....would chose HIM over any dem. As they wanted him to be VP of THEIR party in 2004.
That's how desperate they are/were....even then.

I maybe wrong with this but I foresee (in my crystal ball) the mating of Clinton and Sharpton.
(Hold everything... I wasn't making a derogatory remark with the mating. I met running mates.)
I think they will have a strong "FOR THE PEOPLE" platform. with offers of huge benefit packages for the poor and homeless. The middle class will be thanked for taking care of the poor for all these years and asked to do the same under the new government. The rich will be hated for being rich as always.
They will offer a national wage hike to $15.00 per hour so all that aren't working now won't want to work when they are elected. They will say "I ain't workin for mimujuan wage"
The war in Iraq will be shut down and all military brought home so they can fight the terrorist over here...Why? because the boarders will be opened up so all can enjoy and bomb America.
Amen,
Reverend Colin
