Who uses Vendio Services and what do you use? I would post this elsewhere but every board is so specific.

A person can use some of Vendio's services and not even be a registered user. Example; a person can merely lurk at the many discussion boards, gleening important useful information.

Yes, that's pretty much what I do.

I used their photo service many years ago but that was it.

I'm looking for a new auction manager system and was wondering if anyone used this, if so how it was.

Colin, what are you looking for in your auction management program?

Personally I think that Marketworks is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it kind of depends on what need.

I'm not sure just what I want. I use auction tamer as a browser (I've had it for several years)

As far as listing, I have that down pat and can do as much as 100 a day, as long as I set things up properly.

Last year I brought Auction Wizard, It was okay but didn't pickup names and addresses, and I couldn't put them in as a block, cut and paste. I had to input a lot of other info on each auction. Not worth the money.

Several years ago I used Easy Auction and liked it till they started doing major changes and wanted MORE MONEY.

I need something that will automatically download most of the auction info. Would be nice if I could get the costs of the auction in there too.

Does that make any sense?

Give Marketworks a try. You get the regular auction formats, image hosting included plus
* Customer manager which pulls the info you are looking for (also allows sorting by total purchases if you want to contact people that have spent more than X amount of money with you.
* Complete sales report capabilities.
* Instant mini reports (if you sell multiples of the same items, you can click an icon beside the inventory listing and it will bring up listing history of that item including successrate and average sale amount.
* You can download and upload info in about half a dozen different formats.
* Store included that with minor set-up time will feed to Froogle, Yahoo Shopping, Shoplzilla, etc
* Auto redirect from ebay checkout with designated upsell (you can custom select other items in your inventory that will appear on the checkout page or they can be random) plus intergrated portal if you ever decide to get get/use your own merhant account.

It may take a little tinkering around to figure everything out but once you have it down, its a lifesaver. Oh yeah, and they give you two weeks free to do the tinkering as well.

I have yet to find anything that I need or want to do with my auctions and auction info that I have not been able to do with Marketworks.

The only one I've ever used and really have no complaints about is ebay 'sellers assistant'. I use the basic program...and all that you mentioned you'd like to have is there for $9.99 a month.

I also use Ebay Seller's Assistant, I believe it is - it comes free when you have an ebay store - I really like it. I don't need anything fancy though - and this tracks everything for me just fine.

Years ago, when it was whatever it used to be before it became whatever it was before it was Vendio, I briefly used free photo hosting. Then they started charging. No argument with that, but by then I had highspeed and 50mb of ftp folder space provided with my account. I have no need to pay somebody to host photos or help me post the few auctions I do. Maybe it's good for full time sellers, but there are lots of free apps that appear to do whatever it is Vendio does. If I was thinking about using it, I'd sure ask some questions about all the posts on the EO I've seen over the years with titles like "None of my auction pics are coming up-HELP!!"

No I wouldn't use the image storage. I have a site for that. Just a good manager for debit and credit, addresses and all. something that picks it up so I don't have to cut and paste.

I love Vendio for storing my ads and pictures. That has saved me tons of time. I also really like the Gallery.
