Got home from shopping at Trader Joe's a little while ago. Tonight I found a new taste sensation: Wasabi Cashews.
Wow, these things are good--my tongue is on fire and my sinuses are starting to drain!
I love wasabi. I usually get Wasabi Peas, but just couldn't resist when I saw the cashews.

Nope--just noting how good these things are. You can judge a good wasabi (or a hot sauce) by how much of the end of your nose it blows off and how much it opens up your sinuses...

Tell me about it. I had some jalapenos once that were so hot my voice changed three octaves higher for two days.
I gave my liberal neighbors son a book for his birthday. He went crazy trying to find where to put the batteries.

Bunni--Thanks for the tip! We're going off the mountain in a couple of days to do errands and our quarterly buying at Trader Joe's and I'll look for those cashews. We already like wasabi peas.
Years ago I used to swear that the hot sauce in our favorite Mexican restaurant could remove your fillings.
We're really spicy-food fanatics. Some of Trader Joe's salsas and hot sauces (Mexican style) are just wonderful, and we stock up on those when we can.

If you eat those things with your fingers just make sure you wash your hands thouroughly before going to the bathroom or you'll really go, YEEEE-HAH!!!!! OUCH!!!!! Made Herman the one eyed German turn bright red.
The other thing you want to avoid is rubbing your eye after eating them...
