I lived in a relatively new house and I just noticed there is a continuos buzzing sound coming out of a box high up on the wall in my hallway.I removed the cover and there are 3 things which look like fuses and hot to the touch.
what is that box for and why is it making noise?

the builder gave us an alarm system which will sound off for no reason,so i unplug it years ago,may be this fuse box is related to the alarm system,but why does it buzz non stop,well,it is like a muffled buzzing sound.

You need to remove that thing off the wall with a BFA and do it now.

Oh, i forgot to mention that when you swing at it with your BFA, make it a running shouting swing...seems to make it more effective that way and if you don't have a BFA then a BFH will do also.

okay,I found the problem,it is the damn door bell.
it is not working and it is not lit,so i keep pushing it until it lit up and work,and then what do you know,the noise went away.

Just like on the Beverly Hillbillies...whenever they'd hear that 'strange muesick a playin' someone was always at the door but they couldn't figure out why. LOL
