How can you not love such child-like naive people?

And you have to love those who label a whole group the very same way in their minds, then set the image in stone forever in a corner of their brain and are never ever able to let it go.
There is a joy in remaining somewhat child-like in thought, always open to the new, always learning, always changing ....... as opposed to close-minded old fuddie-duddies plodding along with cobwebby minds, always expecting that others should be just like them.

I think the (far) left are being unrealistic in a lot of the things they say and try to do.
I'm stuck in the 70's. Not politically though
Never heard the word cobwebby before, its cute!

Well, you DO have to be pretty stupid to continually chant "get out of Iraq" schtick when Iran has its weekly "death to Israel" speeches and enriches uranium for "peaceful purposes".
I also like the posts "2000 troops dead in Iraq", "2001 troops dead in Iraq", when this breed of animal kills 3000 people in a morning for kicks.
Our only salvation in all of this might be the Israelis. They know that within a year of these religious Nazis getting fissionable material, the big ooops is coming.
Hard to be a proper left winger when you have 5 kids and the local serial molester moves in next door and is looking in your window.

Ahhhh, the innocent joy of Munich 1938, the giddiness of Castro, Stalin's tender smile. Maybe they should change their ever changing minds to the fact that the world around them does not change.

desquirrel is right on most there.
Israel is our only true allie in the mid east.
Classic, I loved the 70's. It was the best and worst time for me.
fenix, I did not forget my meds!

Not sure what or who desquirrel is ranting about but perhaps a stuffing of turkey and some good loving will temporarily calm his savage soul.
Good wishes to all for a Happy Thanksgiving. <no icky group hugs for me>

Looks like the savage soul of duhsquirrel, whose comments never fail to reveal the true state of his mind and emotions, is suffering from too much turkey and stressing.
