What are your favorite perfumes, colognes?
Which do you find scrumptious, sexy, fresh and clean etc. Which do you find obnoxious? Do you believe that pheromones play a part in attracting the opposite sex? If so can they be duplicated in a fragrance?

My long time favorite perfume is Nina Ricci's L'air de temps, I also love Burberry's Burberry of London. I love Burberry London for men as well.

I dislike anything that has a strong musk scent, and any Avon product, as they all smell the same.

Personally I love Chanel Allure. I hate beyond reason Calvin Klein Escape. Used to like it but used to del with a crazy wench that bathed in it and now just a whiff of it gives me a headache. I'm pretty open with scents for men, as long as they are subtle and spicy. Not a big musk fan either.

Cheap perfume is offensive...especially when used by a man....reminds me of the dudes that hang out in 7/11 convenience stores in our area.

Love Potion No. 9

My favorite for both men and women is:

Love Potion No. 9
[by The Searchers]

I took my troubles down to Madam Ruth.
You know, that Gypsy with the gold capped tooth.

She's got a store front down at Thirty Fourth and Vine,
sellin' little bottles of Love Potion Number Nine.

I told her that I was a flop with chicks.

I've been that way since Nineteen Fifty Six.

She looked at my palm and she made a magic sign.

She said, "What you need is Love Potion Number Nine."

She bent down and turned around and gave me a wink.

She said, "I'm gonna make it up right here in the sink."

It smelled like turpentine and looked like India ink.

I held my nose, I closed my eyes, I took a drink.

I didn't know if it was day or night,
I started kissin' ev'ry thing in sight.

But when I kissed a cop down at Thirty Fourth and Vine,
he broke my little bottle of Love Potion Number Nine.

She bent down, turned around and gave me a wink.

She said, "I'm gonna make it up right here in the sink."

It smelled like turpentine and looked like India ink.
I held my nose, I closed my eyes, I took a drink.
I didn't know if it was day or night,
I started kissin' ev'ry thing in sight.

I had so much fun that I'm goin' back again.

I wonder what happened with Love Potion Number Nine.

Love Potion Number Nine.
Love Potion Number Nine.
Love Potion Number Nine.
Love Potion Number Nine.

I have never worn perfume of any kind.

Helen-dudes?

Maggie, I agree with all Avon smelling the same.

And for guys, I don't know. I guess some are ok, and couldn't tell you the names, I don't know.

But I do know, that Right Guard deodrant smells like crap, and I always wonder how these guys can stand it!

I use Old Spice underarm deodorant and Chaps cologne but i don't slather myself in it. I just use a few drops at a time on my face, neck and arms.

Cracks me up to smell some dude as he walks by and he smells like a damm perfume factory, thick in the air with sweet smelling perfume. It's like, who the heck is that a$$hole trying to fool.

Mine is Bonnie Bell's Skin Musk. I get more compliments when I wear it than anything else I've worn. I don't like flowery scents. They never smell like real flowers. If I had to choose something else, it would be an earthy scent.

classic-dude! I didn't need to smell their pits, I just remember my dad used (or overused) the stuff, and you could stand 10 ft away and smell that crap

I don't wear any.

Chili with extra beans has always been aromatic enough for nearby people. They always seem to notice and as the hours pass after eating chili, the aroma only gets stronger!

Beans, beans, the marvelous fruit.

I use Clubman classic after shave.

On women I find the smell of tuna to be exciting (but never on her breath)

Okay really the wife likes Red Door.... I don't tell her but I don't.

LOL replay.....I've heard of guys like you. Doesn't that continue on....the more you eat the more you toot? I avoid people after they've eaten certain foods like beans/etc. Like the plague.
--------

Colin - GROSS!!!

---------

I like the smell of Chantilly on a woman

Brings another song to mind.....Chantilly lace, a pretty face, a ponytail hanging down, a wiggle when she walks and a giggle when she talks...makes the world go 'round. Ain't nothing like in the world like a big eyed girl....to make me act so funny, make me spend my money.....

[sorry - can't help myself]

-------------------

I like a man's natural scent. Or straight from a shower smelling of a fragrant soap. And I do like smelling a very special mans armpits.

--------------

Used to wear Chanel #5...White Shoulders or Ciara. Now only Ciara - the others make me sneeze.

What....you think I post under the kiara userid too?

I guess that depends on just what type of 'pole' you're speaking of.
I'm not into metal poles, if that's what you mean.

I *WAS* kidding about the beans, of course. But I have to wonder about that TUNA comment. Just goofy enough to be true.
