Last week my DH tried to deposit $400 into an account that I had before we were married. I have since added him to the account, but never bothered getting new deposit slips since I use the account mainly for electronic transfers.
So he hands them 4- $100 bills and a deposit slip. They try to tell him that he can not put CASH into my account! He politely has them look and verify that his name is on the account. They verified his ID and then took the bills into a back room. 15 minute employee conference ensues. They return and tell him that the bills are "suspicious". Huh?
He asks if they are counterfeit? They say they can't be sure without calling the FBI. DH is pizzd enough, he tells them to call the FBI. They refuse and tell him to take the cash to the main branch. I wasn't there but I'm willing to bet that he told them to stuff it up their xxx as well.
So they let a man walk out think he has counterfiet money? I don't understand that.
Then this, for weeks we've been trying to get a title for an enclosed cargo trailer that we bought. It was last registered in KY. Florida requires a title on a trailer this size but KY does not, so there is no title, but I do have proof of a previous registration in KY.
We've visited the FL DMV 4 times. Were told each time that we needed a new piece of paper, so we get the documentation they request only to have them string us along until the next time.
Today was the real pizzr. Took a registered letter, bill of sale and the phone number of the KY State Police so they can verify all the info. Menial clerk takes it to her supervisor, 3 clerks go into a "conference", Tallahassee is called. Poor menial clerk is sent back out to tell us that it would basically take a court order to get this trailer titled in Florida. And then she suggests that we take the paperwork to Alabama, get a title made there and then come register it Florida!
The world has gone INSANE!!!! No wonder there are so many crooks running the streets.
Has it come to the point that honesty is to be punished and criminal acts are to be overlooked?? I just don't understand!
