Some people, mostly the wacko liberals are the ones who are acting so bizarre, imo. They're just losing it...knowing they've got three more years and they JUST can't do anything about getting rid of this President....no matter how hard they try.
--------
Seriously, look at what's going on in the world today...anybody who reads the news everyday has got to have some serious concerns about our future....in every area of our lives.
And like I've said before....behind a monitor people can express their fears in many different ways....even showing just how crazy some of them really are.
We see it even here, every day.

Double, I go through feeling like that. Sometimes, everyone I talk to seems out to lunch. I read and watch the news and wonder why everything's written to be understood by 2 year olds. Then there's the guns, murder, poverty, military wars, religious wars, AIDS, bird flu, etc., and you wonder if it will ever end. Just trying to keep sane is a big goal these days.

Linda, thankyou, yes, thats what I am seeing lately.
Kraft, you wouldnt believe it! Last night this girl on this chat asked people to view her photograph album. So I looked at it. Very personal, superimposing herself into images, bubbles floating around...all this kind of surreal stuff. - Herself taking a picture of herself in the bathroom mirror. Ok. Alright. If youre into that and its a creative artistic outlet for you or whatever, so what? But looking at it made me wonder. So I asked her what does she get out of that- putting this personal stuff to the public? I was just curious you know?
She said she didnt get anything from it (money-wise, which was not what I meant) but she was learning this photo art and wanted to share it. So you guys know me, right,(smiles) and I say, well, you must be getting something out of it? I never knew an artist that gave and didnt receive something back. Well! That was it - chick goes off the deep end. Starts telling me she is an ex-marine and she can kill right good and I better not fk with her as she will find me and its my big problem as I dont know about sycronisity ........all this stuff!!!@ LOL
Profes, that aint such a bad idea when you really think about it.

Prof,
I bet I have more ammo then you!!
I'm looking into a 50 cal. but NY passed a law against the owning of them. I may have to get another Federal firearms license.
What ever it takes, I don't want the liberals on my land. You know what I mean?

I would guess dbl was involved in a chat with Bill O'Reilly. He likes to pretend he was in the military, or at least deceive people that he was in the military. It was probably Bill or the ex-Mayor of Spokane Washington trying to pick up more dudes.

Colin, who are you protecting yourself from? At least Prof owns a ranch so he has a good excuse. Are you running from the man or something?

kraft, that thought crossed my mine about 12pole!
I'm think I am going to take a break from this wide web for awhile.
oh and profes, I dont know whether to bless you or curse you. Showed the hubbythat site and he is like a kid in a candy store wanting to download songs!

Dbl - the first clue was that she asked people to view her "photo album". An artist that is trying to get feedback on their work in a new medium will ask people to look at their "portfolio"
Look at my portfolio = look at my work
Look at my photo album = look at me

fenix, thats what i thought. It was, "look at me", ..and I thought, well, what does one get out of that? I was going off on a more metaphysical type thought...like, are people so isolated..they want somebody to know who they are and what they think and express through some so-called art? But she even refused to call it art, she emphatically said she was an amateur, just learning (her real line of work the medical field)..but she wanted to share. All I asked was why.
I told my dh about it and he said well people dont want to be exposed like that, have their walls pulled down. And i agree, but she put it out there and invited people to look at it -- so I dont get it. And I wasnt trying to break her walls, (at least I didnt think so or realize that) I just wanted to know what motivates one - or what if anything somebody gets out of that.
Its like blogging and asking people to reply to whats in your head. Why do that and make it public if you dont want the feedback?

They want feedback - they just want it all to be positive When she invited people to look at her pics, she wanted someone to tell het they thought she was cute.

Double, didn't you do something similar awhile back? I believe you put up pictures of your family to show us all how good looking you must be, seeing how good looking they all were.

Colin, I don't want anybody on my place who isn't invited, be they liberals or kneejerks
Dbl, don't worry, it took me like a month to use up 20 bucks on that site. Glad yer hubby liked it! By the way, they do go down once in a while, tell him not to worry. They always come back up with your account history and $$ left still intact. I've talked to people who've been DL'ing there 5 years or more, so it's no fly-by-night deal.

kraft, somebody asked *me to show them pictures. I wasnt beggin for somebody to tell me my family's good looking. (I already knew that.)
Professor, thanks a bunch, really. It will be a worthwhile savings compared to Itunes and or ordering cd's! (He's already buggin me to find this one find that one....arrgh!)
fenix, this chick was not cute. She wasnt even normal lookin. I think she just wanted to somebody to compliment all the superimposing and lucyinthesky stuff going on in the photographs. whatever. I didnt meet her goal on that. lol.
