Now that the last long week-end of the summer is over will everyone come straggling back in or are they gone forever? Seems as though a lot of people have been gone from here for WAY-Y-Y-Y too long.

I think the lack of responses to this thread probably is an answer of sorts. It's still early - October is when I would expect to see some posters returning to post regularly. Linda_K, for example, is probably still enjoying the lake. Other posters, for various reasons, may simply have moved on.

I miss Linda-K as well. Many others too. I haven't had much time for this place myself for a couple of months. It looks like a lot of the posters are gone. Things like what happened this week-end tend to drive some of them off. Maybe it is just too early yet,time will tell!
It does seem like this place reflects eBay activity.When there are few posters here there is not as much bidding activity at eBay. Has anyone else noticed that?

HEY ANTIQUARY! my schedule has been more than full, it is overflowing! I can't remember being this busy in years! I really just want to settle in with a good book but haven't even had the time for that! About one more month then blessed peace![I hope!]
