I think when her captors realized what good this girl has been doing for the Iraqi's, they had no other choice. That's great news, Irked!

A number of women have been kidnapped in Iraq but I don't remember that any of them have been killed.

I don't believe she was abducted at all and when she finally figured out that no one was going to give in to thier demands, she finally was "freed".

Some real investigation needs to be done on this one.

I kind of agree with Ron.

When I saw her on tape....pleading for her life....saying her captors were going to kill her.....she came across to me as VERY desperate....and afraid.

Then when I saw the intervew of her...supposedly free....wonder why she's still wearing the islamic garb...why not her American clothes.

But as I listen to her tell the world just how VERY well she was taken care of....fed well....even got to take showers often....found that GREAT 'care' to be so different from her original one.

Like she might have become a Patty Hearst.....brainwashed to believing her captors where right....

I don't know....just real strange to me.

Maybe she's worried IF she doesn't make it all sound so 'rosey' then the other women captives being held might get their captors wrath...or something like that.

But her father apppears to want to protect her from the media....so we may never know the real truth.

Yes i thought that interview strange and they were showing the crying one while playing voice of today's talk.. Did not add up to me either. Stockholm syndrome maybe and or she is wanting to be in America when she finally does talk?

I know I would be afraid to talk if I was still in the country that caused me such grief.
