I watched WW tonight, was tense and on pins and needles nearly the whole time, knowing Leo would die at the end. This show was more like the old WW shows the first year or two. I'm going to miss it. Having been in politics and experienced a couple of tense election nights myself, the tension among the campaign workers really gets to me.

::Any West Wing fans out there?::
Silly question!
I actually like this idea of Leo dying the evening of the elections rather than five days before like the spoilers were claiming. I wasn't that impressed with last weeks episode but I thought this week was more like West Wing of old too. That scene with CJ in the oval office was great.
Can't wait for next week. Poor Josh, Poor Jed! Next week is going to be a heartbreaker. I just keep thinking of the "Two Cathedrals" episode with Jed cusing god in the National Catherdral.

" I wasn't that impressed with last weeks episode"
I wasnt impressed with any of the episodes...
"That scene with CJ in the oval office was great"
what was that, another lame ass democrat getting a B.J.?
"Can't wait for next week. Poor Josh, Poor Jed! Next week is going to be a heartbreaker."
what? are they going to die to? Sucks to be them.Yea..I'll just be in tears over that one.All democrats should die-use them for stem cell research and put them to good use instead of hearing them whine all the time.

Really tacky Classic. Especially when you consider that the reason the charachter died is that the actor that portrayed him died.

Classic - why comment on a show that you know so little about? It's kinda of like Peepa commenting about business pratices when he shows no actual knowledge about them either.

Now classic.....don't go giving these two 'WW' fans too much heartache.
After all...watching a democratic President in the WH on that TV show....is the closest they'll come vs our having one in WH for a very long time.

It's a good twist - it's just a wierd one. He manipulated himself into nearly killing his wife, starting a war and killing thousands of citizens?
I thought it was the VP until he was talking to Palmers brother. He seemed so sincere when talking about President Palmer that I thought, they are going to twist us on this. Didn't think it was going to be THAT twist though.

I didnt get that vibe when the VP was talking to Palmer, thought it was phoney.I think it would have been more sincere if he shook Palmers hand either before or after the conversation.I bet in the coming episodes the Presidents wife will find out and turn him in....and president Palmer will show up to end the crisis.I dont think hes dead at all.I think they wanted everyone to believe that so there wouldnt be another assination attempt. He was shot in the neck, not the head,so its fesiable he could still be alive.Remember you heard it first here.
Besides,I KNOW hes alive......I see him on the Allstate commericals. LOL

Classic - He did shake the brothers hand at the end of the conversation, and he was the one to initiate it.
As for Palmer actually being alive... come on, everyone knows he's off saving the world as the leader of a special forces unit now...
Seriously though... you can't exactly lay on the floor with no medical attention for three hours with no medical attention after being shot in the neck and 20 hours later and kick your whack job predecessors ass
I agree that it will be the first lady wife that brings the president down. We are going to find out he's been switching out her meds to make her seem unstable and I predict that she shoots him ... with Aarons gun. (Because every captured suspect on the show is always killed by a non CTU agent with a weapon they should not have)

This seasons 24 sucks big time. The President is as weak as.... well... George Bush. I am sick of the whiner, and watching Bauer and Palmer shooting at terrorists was pretty amusing. My favorite scene was the opening scene where Bauer walking out of the fire carrying the guy. Talk about total cheese. It reminded me of Knight Rider or Miami Vice. Very disappointing. The show is too concerned with so much plot twisting that they don't care how stupid the plot twists are.

I think a lot of people have been disappointed with this season. Way too contrived, way too much implausability. Plus when you add all of the events that have happened within CTU in the past few years (the bombs, the bad agents, the murdered suspects and the whacked out leadership issues) you aren't so much indignant over Homeland absorbing the agency as baffled that they didn't do it a long time ago.

West wing was a good show as far as the entertainment value went. I really sucked though when they moved it to Sunday nights. Quit watching it because Grey's Anatomy kicks ass. The should have left it on Wednesdays when they had the great ratings.

Stone - it does not compete with Greys. It comes on two hours earlier. If you an old time watcher you should watch next week.
It is Leo's funeral, and somewhat of a tribute to John Spencer as well. Old clips and old charachters coming back for this one.
This guy's walking down the street when he falls in a hole. The walls are so steep he can't get out.
A doctor passes by and the guy shouts up, 'Hey you. Can you help me out?' The doctor writes a prescription, throws it down in the hole and moves on.
Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up, 'Father, I'm down in this hole can you help me out?' The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on.
Then a friend walks by, 'Hey, Joe, it's me can you help me out?' And the friend jumps in the hole. Our guy says, 'Are you stupid? Now we're both down here.' The friend says, 'Yeah, but I've been down here before and I know the way out.'
