'Mad as Hell' Coalition Tells US, 'Do What Mexico Does'
By Susan Jones
CNSNews.com Senior Editor
April 10, 2006

(CNSNews.com) - A conservative advocacy group is speaking for Americans who think illegal immigration is out of control and ought to be stopped.

The Freedom Alliance, founded by Lt.-Col. Oliver North, said it is launching a movement called the "I'm Mad as Hell and I'm Not Gonna Take it Anymore!" coalition.

The group is asking concerned Americans to call, email and fax congressional offices with objections to amnesty for people who come to this country illegally.

"Senator Reid won't take immigration seriously until illegal immigrants begin invading Capitol Hill or his cushy office," said Freedom Alliance President Tom Kilgannon. "His wavering on the immigration bill shows why he is the minority party leader; he isn't listening to the majority of Americans."

Freedom Alliance analyst John Dougherty said it's ironic that protestors are demanding rights for illegals in the United States that illegals don't have in Mexico.

According to an official translation published by the Organization of American States, the Mexican constitution does not allow foreigners to participate in the political affairs of the country. That ban applies to participation in demonstrations.

In Mexico, even legal immigrants don't have equal employment rights; and the Mexican constitution also says that foreigners -- not just illegal immigrants -- may be expelled from the country for any reason and without due process.

While Mexico does nothing to stop the flow of its citizens to the United States, Mexican lawmakers clearly have put their own people first when it comes to immigration and foreign labor law, Dougherty said.

"For once, American lawmakers can follow the lead of their counterparts south of the border. They should adopt the same laws," he added.

The Freedom Alliance describes its mission as honoring and encouraging military service, defending the sovereignty of the United States and promoting a strong national defense.

Hey Bear - estimates are that nearly 90% of the ptrtestors at the rallies are LEGAL immigrants, Many are not even immigrants but US citizens born and raised in this country. Why shouldn't they have they right to protest in a completely peaceful manner, which every one of these protest rallies has been, for something they believe in?

Then round up the 10% and ship their asses out.

I don't believe your "estimates" though I have yet to meet one person that came here legally, albiet Eastern European, that supports the BS that is being discussed for illegals.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to immigrate here legally fenix? If so your support of criminals is amazing and you talk about others having no common sense? Look in the mirror.

I know exactly how hard it is. I know how many forms you have to fill out, how many inches thick the documentation ends up being. I know how much the average immigration attorney costs and how long the process can take.

I've helped put together those forms, collect all that documentation, find the right lawyers, etc amd that is exactly why I don't have a problem with someone that has been here for five years, paying taxes, most of which any legal worker would see funded but which they never will, that has made a life for themself and many times assisted in improving the life of people back home, bypassing at least part of that lunacy.

Domestic Terrorist Group Behind Immigrant Rallies

Posted By Rachel Alexander On April 9, 2006 at 10:42 pm

ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), a front for the communist/socialist Workers World Party, which was identified by former FBI Director Louis Freeh as a “domestic terrorist group,” is behind the immigrant rallies taking place around the nation.

ANSWER provided logistics (signs) for the immigrant rally in L.A. on March 25. ANSWER claims credit for organizing that rally.

FACTS ABOUT ANSWER

A.N.S.W.E.R. is a cover up for the Workers World Party, a Stalinist organization. According to Stephen Zunes, chair of the Peace and Justice Studies Program at the University of San Francisco,”Basically, A.N.S.W.E.R. is dominated by the IAC, which is largely a front for the Workers World Party.” David Corn, a writer for the liberal publication Common Dreams, stated, “A.N.S.W.E.R. is run by W.W.P. activists, to such an extent that it seems fair to dub it a W.W.P. front.”

A.N.S.W.E.R.’s director, Ramsey Clark, has served as the spokesman for the W.W.P since the early 1990s. Ramsey Clark is currently part of the legal defense team for Saddam Hussein, and was part of the legal defense team for Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic in the International Criminal Court. Another director of A.N.S.W.E.R., Brian Becker, is part of the W.W.P. Secretariat.

The former FBI Director under President Clinton, Louis Freeh, included W.W.P. in a talk about “domestic terrorist groups” on May 10, 2001 when speaking to Senate committees. He also denounced “Anarchists and extremist socialist groups - many of which, such as the Workers World Party, have an international presence and, at times, also represent a potential threat in the United States.”

The W.W.P. does not want to participate within the American political system, it wants to overthrow our democratic form of government and eliminate private property. LeiLani Dowell of the W.W.P. said at their conference in November, 2004, “I think that these elections proved to many that there is no choice between Democratic and Republican–and essentially no choice for working people under capitalism.”
A document on the A.N.S.W.E.R. website entitled “Who is the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition” states, “The global anti-war movement must be a movement of international solidarity against the U.S. empire.”

A.N.S.W.E.R. supports the Iraqi resistance against US troops. “Having achieved their victory [the US in Iraq], however, the occupiers now confront a people who have a long and proud history of resistance. The anti-war movement here and around the world must give its unconditional support to the Iraqi anti-colonial resistance.” Richard Becker, A.N.S.W.E.R. Steering Committee, Downloadable flyer on “Counter-revolution and Resistance in Iraq,” May 2003. A recent Workers World editorial stated, “Iraq has done absolutely nothing wrong.”

A.N.S.W.E.R.’s steering committee and endorsers include the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a Marxist-Leninist organization, and the Freedom Sociality Party, a Trotskyite group. A.N.S.W.E.R. supports Fidel Castro and communist Cuba.

A.N.S.W.E.R. sends its professional demonstrators to rallies in order to further its own agenda, not the agenda of the participants. Students were warned by the University of Michigan Daily about the real force behind a January 2003 anti-war rally put on by A.N.S.W.E.R. - “many who read about the rally afterward will assume the crowd showed up to support A.N.S.W.E.R.’s agenda rather than to learn about or participate in the anti-war movement.”

The W.W.P. supports the Chinese communist government, and encouraged its use of tanks against students demonstrating in favor of democracy in Tiannamen Square in 1989, where many died. In the past, it defended Soviet suppression of worker rebellions in eastern European countries, and in 1991 supported the KGB coup against former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev. The W.W.P. is a staunch advocate of Kim Jong II.

And how would Mexico react to this?:

Invading Mexico with Boomer retirees
April 5th, 2006

Messy, messy, messy. That’s all we can say about the onslaught of uncontrolled, illegal migration of one-eighth of Mexico’s population into the United States. The debate is getting hotter in Washington and on the air waves. It will be a long time before it settles down.

Things are about to get even messier and also more interesting.

The Baby Boomer retirement wave is upon us, and Mexico is bound to benefit. It’s cheaper to live there, good medical care can be purchased, and millions of Boomers who want to stretch their retirement income will undoubtedly move a few hundred miles South. We are about to see a reverse, peaceful invasion of millions of Americans into Mexico. Large numbers of US retirees will raise the Mexican standard of living, and forge new relations between Hispanics and Norte Americanos. Call it people diplomacy.

Note to Presidents Fox and Bush: amidst all the Mexican demands for accommodation of law-breakers, how about removing the obnoxious restrictions on gringos buying land near Mexico’s coast? It is kind of hard to take seriously all the rhetoric on friendship and partnership amidst such blatant discrimination.

There isn’t much wrong with Mexico that capitalism and cleaner politics can’t fix. What Mexico needs is freer markets, less corruption, and the rule of law. What’s good for Iraq is also good for Latin America. Two great people movements, going in opposite directions, will lead to a better life for Mexicanos here, and there as well.

What about our country? Will millions of unassimilated Mexicans Mexicanize America? We don’t need the worst of Latin America—- endemic corruption, miserable poverty, an impassable chasm between rich and poor. Already the Democrats and Leftist media are delighted by the prospect of a new underclass to exploit and seduce for political gain; they have tried to change the English usage from “illegal immigrant” to “undocumented worker.”

Until the New Media, that worked. Now the language is coming back: Illegal means illegal again. Getting the words right is a first, important step.

But things are a lot messier, with some real yelling going on between the opposing sides. Somewhere in the middle, where the majority lives, a tangled process of mutual accommodation is taking place in the culture. It’s mostly invisible.

American kids are eating “wraps,” also known as burritos. Old American cars and buses go to Mexico to get a new lease on life; Mexican mechanics can actually still fix American cars. In spite of thousands of marchers in Los Angeles, wildly waving Mexican flags, and gang fights between Chicanos, Blacks, Koreans, and Whites, the younger generation is learning English, as more and more Spanish-origin phrases enrich our spoken language. In another ten years we’ll be walking around with ipods able to translate spoken English into Spanish, and vice versa. The language barrier will crumble faster.

Because we don’t really know what will happen, we have only faith and history to go on. Human freedom, a desire for a better life, the rule of law, the need to unite against totalitarian enemies, a thousand and one daily contacts between peoples, will go on shaping what the United States will become. A hundred years ago waves of legal immigrants—- Irish, Jews, Poles, Germans, Italians—- came to these shores.

Yes, they were legal, but to Americans of that time they looked a lot more foreign than Mexicans look to us today. How could peasants from Southern Italy ever understand America? Would devoutly Orthodox Polish Jews ever learn to speak English? Would the Irish ever give up their hatred for Britain? What about the uneducated Anglo-Irish in the hills of Arkansas? Would they ever join the mainstream?

What a mess. Europe looked at us and sneered.

(They haven’t stopped.)

And yet, some magical chemistry took hold. The families that stayed together, the people who worked hard all their lives, the most talented and good-looking, the ones who married and found jobs, all changed themselves and the country. The United States became the envy of the world in the 20th century, in ways that could not have been predicted when waves of poor, ignorant, and unassimilated people came ashore at Ellis Island.

We are the messiest country in the world in our ethnic mixture, andalso the most productive. We are the wildest culturally—- what other nation would invent and then celebrate Rock and Hip Hop? We are still the most inspirational for those yearning for a better life. We never stop fizzing.

We can’t predict the future. Uncontrolled, illegal immigration is very troubling. At the same time, there is reason for hope. Chances are that Mexico will become more and more like America; and America will not cease being itself.

Americanization is happening all over the world. It will not stop here.

Your naivete about them paying taxes is amusing. These people don't pay their fair share of taxes.

There was an article in the paper here about a contractor who knowingly uses illegals and how he does not with hold taxes or even workers comp for these people. He pockets the money. So you blindly believe these people pay taxes I refuse to do so.

I am confident that the congress will do the right thing and send these people packing or at least make them felons for future illegals.

You can disagree with me all you want, but are you going to diagree with the US Government?

Starting in the late 1980's, the Social Security Administration received a flood of W-2 earnings reports with incorrect - sometimes simply fictitious - Social Security numbers. It stashed them in what it calls the "earnings suspense file" in the hope that someday it would figure out whom they belonged to.

The file has been mushrooming ever since: $189 billion worth of wages ended up recorded in the suspense file over the 1990's, two and a half times the amount of the 1980's.

In the current decade, the file is growing, on average, by more than $50 billion a year, generating $6 billion to $7 billion in Social Security tax revenue and about $1.5 billion in Medicare taxes.

In 2002 alone, the last year with figures released by the Social Security Administration, nine million W-2's with incorrect Social Security numbers landed in the suspense file, accounting for $56 billion in earnings, or about 1.5 percent of total reported wages.

If you have 11 million illiegal aliens in this country and 9 million w-2's with incorrect SSNs, obviously, the majority of them are paying taxes.

"I'm Mad as Hell and I'm Not Gonna Take it Anymore!" This saying was made famous by a 1970s movie called Network.

Bear is certainly right there are millions of Americans that are mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore.

We see it everyday in the polls.

You know we could solve this problem really easily by returning all immigrants (and their decendants) back to their country of origin and leaving the North American tribes to decide who can be allowed in. They never had a choice when the Spanish and English arrived and "discovered" North America, so redress the centuries of attempted genocide (forced death marches to reserves) by giving the USA back to the original owners. Problem solved!

What is your problem agitprop? You don't have a clue do you.

Oh and fenix

A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken Friday through Sunday found a majority of those surveyed want to make it a crime for foreigners to immigrate illegally to the USA and for Americans to help those illegal immigrants once they arrive.

What's wrong RON... you get so excited after reading that sentence that you didn't read the next one?

Still, nearly two-thirds also say the government should allow illegal immigrants to remain and become U.S. citizens if they meet certain requirements over time.

Oh - and you forgot to quote this part of the same article as well....

Deportation: Fewer than one in five Americans think all illegal immigrants should be deported. A similar number say they should be allowed to stay and work for a limited time.

Just for giggles - lets let everyone in on the fun

No I read that and I could live with the fact some of the illegals would be given a free ride if the future ones will be labled the criminals they actually are.
