Hey folks, I've been on a long deserved vacation for the last few weeks, and thought I would check in briefly. I promised myself I wouldn't bring my laptop in order to get away from it all. I stopped at a cafe and decided to spend a few minutes checking for important emails and to harrass all of you neocons since I know you've missed me so much.

So, if you love great political satire, you should visit this website and check out the video clips from this weekends Washington Press dinner:

Take care, and I'll be back once the dust settles.

Enjoy your vacation Rusty. No need to hurry back nothing much changes around here. The neocons are still making a horses azz of themselves. The only thing you might be missing is a few neocon comments that are stupid and humorous at the same time. They can't defend any longer all they have left is attack.

Shortly after rusty posted his diatribe, that website locked up from so many Neocons attempting to access it all at once and using up all available bandwidth. They were all so eager to see what he was talking about because what he has to say is taken with such importance around here. I'm sure that's exactly the way rusty sees it, in his feeble mind how it all went down after he posted but in reality it couldn't be farther from the truth.

psssst (whispering) lets don't tell rusty the truth about it, ok.

I have no doubt that's the way HE sees it..... but then he's not reality based anyway.

The New Bush Twins: Double Dubya

By Amy Argetsinger and Roxanne Roberts
Tuesday, May 2, 2006; Page C03

The reviews from the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner are in, and the consensus is that President Bush and Bush impersonator Steve Bridges stole Saturday's show -- and Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert's cutting satire fell flat because he ignored the cardinal rule of Washington humor: Make fun of yourself, not the other guy.

"You have to have a great deal of confidence to do self-deprecating humor, especially when you're being attacked day in and day out," said Landon Parvin, who helped Bush and Bridges write the jokes contrasting Bush's public voice with his supposed inner thoughts. Parvin, a former speechwriter for Ronald Reagan, is responsible for most of the president's intentional humor, as well as the famous parody song "Secondhand Clothes" for Nancy Reagan's 1982 Gridiron appearance, and Laura Bush's deadpan triumph at last year's correspondents' dinner.

It was the president's idea for the twin act. After seeing a tape of Bridges introducing mom Barbara Bush , he invited the Dallas-born comedian to the Oval Office three years ago. The president said, "I tell you: You see a videotape where someone looks like you, acts like you, talks like you -- that's weird," according to Bridges, and promised they'd work together in the future.

Its a shame that DUMBO BUSH has been reduced to poking fun at himself in hopes to cover up his STUPIDITY.

What a mess DUMBO and his gang of conservative crook lawmakers have put this country into.

stonecold13,

Its a shame that DUMBO BUSH has been reduced to poking fun at himself using look a like comedians in hopes to cover up his STUPIDITY. It hasn't helped his poll ratings any. New polls this week shows his support going lower.

But we know guys like Bush don't pay attention to the polls. He knows that polls are just a collection of statistics that reflect what people are thinking 'in reality.' And reality has a well-known liberal bias. Paraphrased joke by Stephen Colbert

The majority of Americans feel what the AOL question below shows.

Were Stephen Colberts appropriate?
Yes 66%
No 34%
Total Votes: 88,623

To bad for conservative DUMBO BUSH supports that the CON in the word conservative is being exposed.

I always believed that the religious based conservative political movement was made up of mostly crooks and phonies. So many conservative REPUBLICANS have been arrested or put in jail already that the conservatives are proving me right. I am hearing Karl Rove may be arrested soon. Plus watch for lots more Republican CROOKS being arrested by summer.
