Golly Gosh, it looks like the Prez, whom cannot be re-elected, doesn't give a rats ass whether anyone approves of what he is doing.
Time for democraps to flail their arms, gnash their teeth, and pull their hair. Hmmmmm, I see a few of you repug hopefuls are joining in.........

It's not really about the President. It's about the disillusionment he's causing in his own party. Another poll indicates that 1 in 3 republicans wants to see the republican party lose control of the congress in the next election. The next election should be real interesting. Putting a soldier who answers to Rumsfeld in charge of the CIA might be the final insult to his remaining followers, but if it isn't, he's got lots of time left to completely destroy his party.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Only 29 percent of Americans now believe President George W. Bush is doing a good job, according to a recent poll.
The poll, conducted by the Wall Street Journal, is the latest to indicate a slump in public support for the US leader as his Republican party heads into the campaign for mid-term elections in November.
In the poll, released in the newspaper's online edition, Bush has lost six percentage points in a month.
Iraq remains the main concern. Twenty-eight percent of Americans say it is one of the two most important topics, up from 23 percent in April, followed by immigration (16 percent) and the price of petrol (gasoline) (14 percent).
Only 24 percent of the 1,003 people asked between May 3-8 said they believed the United States was "heading in the right direction". According to the Journal, 69 percent said "things have pretty seriously gotten off on the wrong track".
Bush is closing in on the unpopularity level of President Richard Nixon (24 percent) at the moment of his resignation in 1974 over the Watergate scandal.

Prof, I'm a Republican. Yeah, I'm more of a Libertarian than anything, but I want to vote in the primaries. About the only way the Republicans would get my vote this year is if the Democraps put up a Clinton or a Kerry, again. Ralph Nader should definitely run one more time. With the right tickets in both big parties, the throw-away vote could be a majority.

I just love those witty mouth breathers who, with drool running down their chins, gurgle "duh, hic, he cain't run again so it dudn't madder, grunt."
Well, it seems to matter to any Republican who DOES plan on running........

Park - the libertarian party might actually standa chance of getting a decent vote count in upcoming elections butnot if they run Nader again. No one takes him seriously anymore. If they could find a serious candidate, someone young and articulate who could rally people around a campaign platform of issues other than "we're not them" 2008 might actually be the year they could make a serious impact but Nader is not that person.
I want the candidate that stands up and says they will veto any and every bill that comes in front of them with more than say...10 million in pork programs (lets be real - we are not going to eliminate it completely) and then does it. That says that the government has no place legislating morality, takes a realistic look at immigration issues and what needs to be done to solve the problem, does not believe that we are the worlds cop but at the same time is someone that is taken seriously on world stage.
Give me that candidate and I'll gladly give them my vote.
