I love b-movies and saw a fantastic one last night I'll have to buy called "Beyond The Valley of the Dolls". (It has nothing to do with the original movie.) The plot is about a 20-something girl that's in a rock band (they play guitars with evening gowns on) that might inherit money. Has anyone seen it?

No,but I have seen the original valley of the dolls and read the book too.
Talk about movie ,have you seen Tristan and Isolde, a love story.
Another one is Solomon and Gaenor, another love story ?
And who said Lancelot has to die in the 2004 King Arthur??
How many versions are out there,I swear the PG13 version shows him alive and attending the wedding of Arthur?or am I having too much to drink??

I've never seen a guitar wearing a evening gown.

I much prefer C movies over B movies. Of course you do know that C movies are all rated XXX, don't you?

Washington, Near & I laughed our heads off one night about how long it takes all the monsters to get around. And why it is that people all fall when being chased by monsters that run about 1/10 of a mile per hour.
Fenix, I watched all the Mothra movies. I love the tie-in with the 2 miniature Asian twins with the pillbox hats and the moth.
Pi, I think you just made that up.

Ron-I remember seeing a lot of those when I went to the movies in the mid to late 50's.
I think my favorites were Rodan-Godzilla-Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the all time classic The War Of The Worlds.
The funny thing about those Japanese movies were the "lip syncing" they never got it right. It was funny to watch them over dub English when they were actually speaking Japanese-either their mouths would be closed when someone was speaking or their lips would be moving and no sound coming out.If you want to take a look at humorous versions of those
50's B sci fi movies pick up any copy of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I like the old classic B movies but to watch a B movie of today just sucks. Some of the actors can't act their way out of a bag. There was one movie last year I just hated but watched it anyway. Darn can't think of the name it. It had a frizzy headed red head kid teen in it and he talked in monotone the whole movie. Very disfunctional family... Brother or Uncle was a door to door salesman that got into bed with everyone including the grannies.. I think it was supposed to be a good flick but the acting was horrible maybe it was designed that way on purpose.

The movie that freaked me out the most was on "Monster Movie Matinee", came on every Saturday afternoon. It was about some evil guy who was beheaded and his head and body were buried separately. His head hypnotized some guy and the guy carried the head by the hair, looking for the body. The creepy part was the head, eyes looking left, then right...... shudder!!! That one gave me nightmares. I never could remember the name of it.
I always thought the Japanese movies, with the bad sound editing, were great.

When I was about 7 I saw sat up way too late and watched this horror movie about these little 5 or 6" tall ngome type creatures that were killing everyone in a house. They only way to stay safe from them was to stay in a lit room (seems simple until the little critters got together and cut the power to the house). Scared the bejeezus out of me and for a year I was scared of the dark. I had this whole crazy ritual for when I would have to gofrom room to room at night where I would turn the the light on in one room, then go to the next, turn the lights on in there then go back to the room I left to turn that light off. Since I spent most of my time in the den in the basement and my room was on the third floor it made the process of trying to go to bed a 15 minute process just to get upstairs.

Fenix, I know what you mean! LOL
After seeing a movie where the killer was waiting under the bed... I still kind of leap onto the bed afraid that what ever is under my bed will grab my ankles.... ha ha ha
