It appears our neighbors to the north did themselves a favor and caught 17 terrorists that may have had plans to do some damage to something in Canada.
But being a good government and wanting to protect its citizens they eavesdropped on these peoples email, chat room talks and other electronic communications. Appears the people of canada are do as I say not as I do bunch.
I say good for the government and they caught this scum before anything bad happend. But looking here at home it maybe a little more foolish now to p&m about President Bush and his authorizing eavesdropping, after all it worked for our neighbors to the north.

I don't know who p&m'd about Bush's announcement about eavesdropping, Washington, but in my opinion, what made Bush look dopey was either he seemed not to realize electronic eavesdropping has been happening for decades in both Canada and the US, or he was trying to portray it as his original idea... same as if he announced the US has nuclear bombs.
