Maggie, I'm still laughing about you asking him if he was one of the Three Bears.

I have a story for him... The girl across the street caught her cat pooping in the toilet again.

Bear, if you could drop us a line to let us know you are okay, it would be appreciated.
Hope all is well. Maggie

Thank god for the hurricane threat to Maggie. It distracted he enough for me to escape. She had me chained to a bed in her house using me as a sex slave. So much for her claim of not being interested in sex!!!!!!

Glad to see I was missed.....

Maggie, we took an extended road trip across the country with some friends in their new motor home.

Went to DC & visited the Vietnam memorial, then to NYC & ground zero. Then up to the Black Hills of S Dakota, all the way over to Yellowstone then to the Grand Canyon. Up to Ogden Utah so my wife could visit her brothers grave site.

Hell we just drove anywhere we wanted to without any set purpose or other particular destinations in mind.

It was great to get away from everything (the computer included)and just pack up & go.

So no, it wasnt a heart attack (not until the CC bills came rolling in.

What a wonderful trip, Bear! I'd bet you'd have to be reeeeealy good friends to be in such close quarters for a couple of months! So glad you had a good time.. Can't imagine what the gas bills were like though.

The RT has been in a decline for months now, not many post here anymore. I still check back now and then. Most all of your buddies have pulled up stakes and moved on to the Rev's Roadhouse, don't know if you post there or not.

Anyhoo I'm happy to hear you are well.. funny after years of posting on these boards we feel like we know each other and when someone comes up missing, it's a worry. Take care.. hugs M

Maggie, it was close quarters but really wasn't too bad. They bought one of these BIG motor homes, must have been 40 or 50 foot long, like traveling in a Greyhound bus with better amenities. Had 2 king size beds, a full bath with a regular size tub & shower. Large enough in fact so that when one of us got tired of the others we could go to the bedroom & open a book or whatever to get some alone time.

He & I wanted to venture down the Baja to Cabo for some offshore game fishing but couldn't convince the wives to go along even thing to bribe them with a ferry ship ride across to Mazatlan to go shopping didn't work.

Still in all a tereffic trip.

That ferry ride's a kick bear, have you ever done it? I drove the Baja two times before it was paved. We loaded our trucks onto the ferry to Mazatlan and came home on the mainland. Month long trips each time. Those were the days....

"can you imagine what the gas bill would be on a 50 motorhome."

I just got back from vacation two weeks ago. On one of our just-off-the-Interstate gas stops, we parked next to a large RV. I Don't know the size, but it was a big one. His total fill-up came to $365

Ouch!

Most all of your buddies have pulled up stakes and moved on to the Rev's Roadhouse, don't know if you post there or not.

That couldn't be more wrong. In actuallity, most of the demomorons pulled stakes and slithered off to the OTWA.

BTW, your all welcome at the Roadhouse. I still come here to post occasionally but it's seems to be dying. Seems the Ultra libs have bored everyone to death.

We have discussions at the Roadhouse. We try to be as non PC as possible.

We don't allow the gang up crap you find on many of these boards. We have all kinds of people on the board and it's growing by the day. There is no monarchy, it's a board run for the people by the people, with liberty and justice for most.

Amen,

I guess I should have warned all of my extended absence but the opportunity came along so suddenly we dropped everything to prepare for the trip.

The fuel bill really wasn't too bad. Since this was the 4th (but largest) motor home our friend had purchased the dealer gave him a fuel card worth $2500.00. That ALMOST covered all the fuel purchases. My wife & I purchased all the groceries for the trip and only ate in restaurants a handful of times.

Prof, never have made the ferry trip across to Mazatlan, us guys wanted to try it but the women folk were apprehensive about the trip down the Baja pennisula to get to the ferry.

Rev, I will come visit. Dont know when though. My internet HABIT has been pretty well been broken by the extened vacation.
