104 here at 11 a.m. with 70% on site humidity. It made 111 and 90% yesterday and never rained a drop. Had a real scary lightning storm. Had to ride out in it and make sure the sheep stay off the fence line. I expect it'll make 112 today.

101 at 1:00 PM reaching for the forcasted 105. This is the second year of drought conditions here and many of my neighbors wells have gone dry. It's not forcasted to cool off any until Sunday.

Well, if there is one advantage to the 100 degree heat in Denver, it's that it only comes with 20% humidity.

Looking forward to the weekend - low 80s and even some scattered showers anticipated. Sounds like heaven.

109 by thermometer but News said 107. We are expecting a cold front next week down to maybe 99 so may have to get out the long johns. LOL I just love the weatherman's jargon when they say there is a cold front coming-- he really says that.

It's 70 with low humidity here in my air conditioned office,

It was comfortable in the air conditioned car on the way to work.

I slept well in the air conditioned bedroom at home.

I worked on one of the bike, before coming into work, in the air conditioned garage.

I love technology.

78 high here in Idyllwild today, fluffy white clouds, humidity about 25% (high for us), soft breezes. Heaven. Tonight it'll go down in the 50s.

Why not talk about our electric bill instead?
I set mine at 78 degree and I have a small fan from Walgreen 9.99 special which keeps me cool while I type(also a ceiling fan at slow speed).

Not a Good idea-- I don't want to even open my electric bill when it comes after this latest hot spell. I may go into cardiac arrest if I do. OR my water bill, my wife has been watering our huge yard to keep it alive and if they start water rationing she will have cardiac arrest. The bills are going to be a punch below the belt I think.

It was 111ºF yesterday. What was really strange was having it rain the other day while it was at 100ºF. Pretty sure the last time it rained here in July was 1975. It snows here every 7 to 8 years on average, so much rarer than snow.

There was an interesting flash flood at Huntington Lake that clogged the upper end of the lake with downed trees and debris. Bizarre weather.

Looking at 109ºF to 115ºF, today. 108ºF, right now.

I wonder if Canada and Russia will become the new Cancun & Cuba in the near future? We haven't had much snow here in the past 5 years.

Kiara, you're out west where it's always temperate - has your weather changed much? Or anyone else that's on the west coast? Washington? Near? (Where have you been hding, Near?????)

Typical weather here. I don't buy into the "Global Warming" myth. Earth has been warming on its own since the last ice age.
