Just curious, but what is your opinion of term limits? I've read many arguments, pros/cons.
Yesterday, I heard a political ad that said more incumbent state legislators die or are put in jail than lose in their primaries or elections. Whether true or not, it was a bit alarming.
I would be for term limits, but only if they truly resolve the problems that are created by long time incumbents. There is simply too much wheeling and dealing going on between legislators and lobbyists. At the same time, there are also some good legislators out there who we would lose with term limits. Term limits seem to be damned if you do damned if you don't.

Term limits are way over due.
I would start with Judges. How many times have we voted only to see that a judge is running un-opposed? The reason is if the losing lawyer happens to appear in front of the winning lawyer, there is a fear of retaliation against their clients. Term limits will cure most of that and make it much more fair to all citizens of the USA.
