Big deal. In Minnesota, we knocked off the number 1 & 2 Demomorons in an election that should have been easy pickens for the Dems.

Cheers to the Democratic winners and the American people who voted...
...and to people like you Cheryl and Bigpeepa who helped with the election!
Bigpeepa, my daughter lives in Pa. so she was especially happy to see Santorum defeated too! It will be fun to watch Bush squirm at the press conference today.

In this particular election, I could not discern where anyone stood on anything.
Hopefully they can get down to the business of running America....for Americans.
It will be interesting to see what happens, if anything....

Couldn't have said it better myself. Once the Americans realize why they voted for who they did instead of voting because of issues, the tide will turn. In reality, this really wasn't as bad as was predicted and in most cases, the Demomorons won only by a percentage point or two.

Everything I saw, or read, were either "Hey, I'm not a Republican" or was rehashing safety or was dredging up anything they could (real or imagined) against their opponents.
If most Americans get their information from television (which are biased one way or the other) or newspapers (which are biased one way or the other), they don't know where any particular candidate stands on the actual issues that are important.
I know where my local State Representative stands on things. That is about it....
But thanks for pointing out my ignorance. I'll try to work on it.....

twig - I know what you're saying. Fortunately, I know my State Rep., Congressman and State Senator personally so I know where they stand and don't rely on the ads. I go to meet and hear Strickland in person so I know where he stands as well. The ads were terrible - from both sides! I'm glad they're finally over.

Good work, Bigpeepa and Cheryl.
A message has been sent to Bush about his incompetency but I don't know whether he will listen as he's proven to be stubborn and close-minded.
Now it's time to try to find some solutions in handling the mess of the Iraqi war and Afghanistan shouldn't be forgotten either. It's time to stop meddling in the affairs of other countries and clean up the messes already made before more innocent people are killed.
Less time should be spent on preaching moral values to everyone and interfering in their private affairs because it's been shown that most are unable to practice what they preach.
I always have hopes for better times but there will probably be much infighting and more scandal that will deter any real change.

Let the impeachment process begin.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'

Stone,
Not only are you a loser but your a SORE LOSER. Your NEO-CON views have become insignificant. YES!!!
Now all the hard slow work begins we can start un-doing all the harm the NEO-CONS did to America.
If DUMBO wants to even think of a Republican President in 2008 he better get in line and start following our lead.
HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!!!!

See....there's another liberal who's going to be REAL disappointed. LOL
Their leader, pelosi [GAG] has said they won't be going after impeachment....she wants the dems and republicans to WORK TOGETHER.
NO impeachment process. lol lol lol
While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation:
What would a Democrat president have done at that point? Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack.

Okay, this from a confirmed leftie - I really don't think impeachment is the answer at this point in the "game". I think taking a cue from Pelosi and trying to work together is the only thing we have left that we've yet to try. The right and the left will never agree on everything. The most we can hope for is compromise. This country is big enough. We should all be able to live together in it without it being a constant battle.
Just my two cents.
