Recessions bring out criminals because they can't afford to live. I wonder how many rich people are criminals?

roadsmith,
Its called the big stall Bushy doesn't take the blame for anything. Bushy says we will just study it and the problem will go away. When I think we have 700 plus days of this guy its depressing.
Next the new-cons will say its the Democrats fault.
Bushy and his gang of crooks had plenty of time like 6 years to rob the middle class. Now his cuts to police programs are showing up. Next it will be cuts in unfunded programs like no child left behind our southern borders etc. Like I said with Bushy just stall and the problems will go away.
I just hope truly religious people that reelected this guy Bushy will teach their children and grand children not to ever again mix religion with politics again.
Our founding fathers were smart enough to see this mess coming but we were not smart enough to listen to them.

There's light at the end of the tunnel. The evangelicals, the official leadership of the groups, are beginning to come around to the stewardship of the earth, global warming, stem-cell research, etc. My husband and I went to Wheaton College, an evangelical stronghold in Illinois, long ago. We've been hoping that alma mater of Dennis Hastert (gaaaaack) will see the light on a number of issues.
The fact that Rick Warren, that minister who wrote The Purpose-Driven Life, invited Obama to his pulpit speaks volumes. He carries a lot of weight.
The neo-cons should be shaking in their boots over these developments in what they've considered their fiefdom.

Oh please, these people have as much affect on things as termites. A few speeches and a little lip service nets millions of votes and billions of dollars.
Think of it as akin to the Democrats having their picture taken with any Black leader/cause available and then what they actually do....nothing.
