My son is a huge fan of this wierdo. He's pretty amazing and as far as I'm concerned may very well be the DEVIL himself.

I didn't view the link.
I've seen him on television a few times.
Once he walked across a swimming pool in Vegas (I think). People swam under him.

Howard Stern by a window ??????
I guess I just don't get it....who's this guy supposed to be and why doesn't he cut his hair?

you didn't watch the video mingo or you would get it. He's an illusionist and a darn good one. If you like street magic you've got to see this guy. I don't know why he doesn't cut his hair either. I guess it's the new homeless look, very stylish I'm told. But surely, you don't judge people on appearance??
I know, stop calling you Shirley.

profe, I have no idea who Shirley is either.
Guess I'm just "out of the loop".. (Thank goodness!)
I didn't judge him on his hair just wanted to know why he didn't cut it .....looks like crap....
I DO, however, judge people on their appearance....if they LOOK dirty, unkempt, and sloppy I assume they are, and I steer clear....

I saw that woman split in two on his TV show Helen. Pretty disturbing, but you can't look away I really think his best stunts are the small little street magic tricks he does.

Mingo, that may not be a good policy because sometimes you may be fooled. My teacher's assistant in logic 101 looked exactly like this fellow with long hair and he wore the same faded Mickey Mouse tee-shirt every day.
If you had seen him outside the school environment I'll bet that you would have judged him based only on his appearance to be a bum. He was a poor graduate student but he was smart.

I wouldn't judge him but I'd steer clear. But I'm sure if he was smart then soon he should earn enough for a new shirt and a hair cut

I'm sure that he's laughing all the way to the bank. And if he wanted a hair cut that he has a few bucks to get one.
Maybe he doesn't need a shirt either! LOL

I think the assumption on the viewer's part that this is actually taking place with passersby in a park and not actors is the key. They've got to be actors and the video is heavily photoshopped. If not, he's the devil for sure. Like I said, I think his little illusions, that he really does do live on the street are what promote his reputation, then he adds in these
video fakes to complete the picture. Great showmanship in any event. I don't know if there's video of him getting repeatedly struck by artificially generated lightning or not, but that stunt was breathtaking. He put himself into this steel mesh suit and stood underneath the world's biggest tesla coil while they cranked up the power and repeatedly nailed him with lightning. Something to see for sure.
I wouldn't let younger kids watch his TV show due to language and disturbing themes, not to mention the "don't try this at home, kids" aspect, by the way.
