With all the talk about how Bush is going to send more troops to Iraq, we all have forgotten about what Bush said in 2005.
"Sending more Americans would undermine our strategy of encouraging Iraqis to take the lead in this fight." Bush June 2005
By the way since this troop increase is only temporary, one can argue this increase in troops would be a timetable.
Bush has said there would be no timetables for victory. Another flip flop??
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.
