Wow, that's amazing! I don't know if I would have been out and about, but the sight had to be incredible!
Stone - We have had two years of warmer than normal winter temps here in Ohio. We had snow yesterday and before that I believe it was in November (at least in my neighborhood). The weather is wacky all over the globe. If not global warming, I have to wonder what it might be. Something is changing, that's for sure.

Have you ever lost your power, Stone, for a length of time like these poor people have?
Guess if one lives in a place where that usually happens then one must be more prepared with some other way to keep warm, huh?
In CA this wasn't an issue...although this year I've read they've lost their orange crops - big time.
And in the 6 1/2 years I've lived here we only had one bad ice storm and couldn't get out for almost 5 weeks. We don't have many snow movers here as it normally isn't a problem...it melts quickly...or within a day or two.
