Jay Leno:

NASA made it official today:

They are no longer going to recruit their astronauts from eHarmony.com. ...

Al Gore thanked the music industry for helping to protect the environment. Really? I think Snoop Dogg alone has put enough smoke into the earth's atmosphere to block out half the sunlight. ...

As you know, Al Gore has been nominated for two Academy Awards. But he has a bit of a problem, as far as transportation goes.

He doesn't want to ride there in a big car, and if you've seen al lately, he no longer fits in a small car.

So unless Hummer comes out with a hybrid in two weeks, he is screwed. ...

In an interview with USA Today, Senator Barack Obama says the shortness of his political resume is his "greatest strength."

Politics is the only business where people brag about how little experience they have.

Can you imagine guys saying to you, "Look, I've never been to medical school, I've never even watched E.R., but if you just let me try and do this brain operation I'll do the best job I can.?" ...

So many places ban smoking in public. If Barack Obama wants to smoke, he has to go someplace where no one is around. Like a Joe Biden rally. Some place like that. ...

Funny story I saw on the news last night. Seems a couple of people walking down the street in Washington, DC, passed actor Will Smith and they thought he was Barack Obama!

They stopped him and said they're voting for him in 2008. Actually, [the] same thing happened to Elton John. People thought he was Hillary...

Famous designer Donatella Versace has recommended that Hillary Clinton stop wearing those pant suits and start wearing dresses and skirts.

Versace said Hillary should treat femininity as an opportunity.

You know, the way Bill does.

Glad you have your sense of humor linduh, even if it isn't original....

You're going to need it....especially when those Iraqi muslims move in to your town

Especially when a Democrat takes the White House in '08.

Put your head in the sand...won't change a thing !

Geez...slow day today....just a report from linduh's science/political advisor, Jay Leno, and then silence.... [ edited by mingotree on Feb 14, 2007 11:27 AM ]

Let's see what Linda's friend Leno has said about her other friend, Bush:

You all watch the Grammys last night? The Dixie Chicks won five Grammys. I don't want to say President Bush was upset, but today he tried to get the Supreme Court to overturn the ballot results. It only works once." --Jay Leno

President Bush said that he's prayed every single day since he took office. Hey, you're not the only one. Join the club." --Jay Leno ...

President Bush went out touting his economic record in Ohio last week. Now this is a state that lost 225,000 jobs since Bush took office. You know, if Bush wants to tout his record, he should do it somewhere where the Bush economy has actually created jobs, like India, or Thailand, or China."
-- Jay Leno

"President Bush has unveiled his first campaign commercial, highlighting all of his accomplishes in office. That's why it's a 60-second spot."
-- Jay Leno

"President Bush says he has just one question for the American voters, 'Is the rich person you're working for better off now than they were four years ago?'"
-- Jay Leno

"As you know President Bush gave his State of the Union Address, interrupted 70 times by applause and 45 times by really big words."
-- Jay Leno

"President Bush said that American workers will need new skills to get the new jobs in the 21st century. Some of the skills they're going to need are Spanish, Chinese, Korean, because that's where the jobs went."
-- Jay Leno

A lot of controversy over this possible invasion of Iraq. In fact, Nelson Mandela was so upset, he called Bush's dad. How embarrassing, when world leaders start calling your father.
-- Jay Leno

According to doctors, George Bush has the lowest heartbeat ever recorded by someone in the White House. Well, second lowest. Dick Cheney got his down to zero a couple of times.
-- Jay Leno

Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

The duty of a patriot in this time and place is to ask questions, to demand answers, to understand where our nation is headed and why. If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'

Jay Leno:

[Monday was] Presidents Day - or for those of you in California, el Presidente Day! ...

Al Gore will be speaking at this year's Democratic Convention - or as we call it, the Oscars. ...

When Al Gore presented the 'Best Album' award to the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Grammys, Al Gore said because of global warming, the Chili Peppers are now 20 percent hotter than they were 20 years ago. ...

In the latest count, there are now 25 politicians running for president - and 15 of them also claim to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby. ...

Al-Qaeida released another video tape from their number-two man. This one had a shocking revelation: 'The great Satan will soon taste unspeakable suffering from our hands. Oh, and by the way, I am the father of Anna Nicole's baby." ...

The number one movie at the box office is 'Norbit,' where Eddie Murphy plays a huge fat woman. Or as Bill Clinton calls it, 'Dreamgirls.' ...

The FAA is very close to raising the retirement age of pilots. That means pretty soon both astronauts and pilots will be wearing diapers. ...

Congress is now trying to pass a bill that would require health insurers to cover more costs for the mentally ill. Once again, Congress looking out for themselves. So typical!

My personal favorite:

"As you know President Bush gave his State of the Union Address, interrupted 70 times by applause and 45 times by really big words."

Jay Leno:

Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi went to Syria, and she said she found some common ground to talk about with the Syrians.

I guess they told each other Bush jokes for a few hours. ...
========

Our official policy is to punish Syria for not renouncing terrorism.

Hey, maybe the visit from Nancy Pelosi was the punishment.
========

... Iranian President Mahmud I'm-A-Nut-Job released those 15 British captives after they were held hostage for 13 days.

Iran was worried that if they didn't act soon, Nancy Pelosi would go over and talk to them too. ...
==========

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards, as well as a number of other Democratic candidates say they will not participate in a presidential debate next month because the debate is on Fox News and Fox News is biased.

How are you going to stand up to terrorists when you're afraid of Fox News? ...

==========

The big story in the presidential campaign is how much money Hillary Clinton has raised. It's a record. She raised $26 million in the first quarter, and then shifted $10 million she had leftover from her Senate race for a total of $36 million.

Hillary Clinton has so much money John Kerry is now hitting on her. ...
==============

Health officials are now warning that prescription sleeping pills can cause sleep driving. It can cause people to get up in the middle of the night, drive somewhere, and have no memory of where they went or what they did.

To which Bill told Hillary, "See" ...
=============

Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said he wants to make it clear he is not in favor of gay marriage.

He believes marriage should be between a man and a woman, no matter how many times it takes to get it right.

I wonder if any liberals or pelosi supporters here watching the Leno show last night.

IF they did....they must have PUKED when pelosi said she respects President Bush.

"Nancy Pelosi on Jay Leno: 'I Respect' Bush"

Now that's a progressive socialist speaking out of both sides of her mouth.

"I respect the office he holds, and I respect him," she said.

I believe she does have a certain amount of respect for him otherwise she would not be holding the position in government that she does.

In order to deal with the issues within government Pelosi and Bush have to have some respect for one another, even if they radically disagree on policies. It's common sense when dealing with anyone in business if they are working together.

I watched , I saw the ENTIRE interview.

She said she respects the OFFICE of president and bush as a person.

I don't think we're in doubt as to how she feels about his policies.

And it was very interesting to hear her comments on her BI-PARTISAN trip to Syria.

Kiara, your ""It's common sense""....well, we know who that leaves out

Mingo, seems as if Linda_K has a problem of projecting all her feelings or actions on others, even right down to projecting her own puking problem.

Linda_K, you are dealing with adults here that understand that those in business can disagree and still respect one another, whether you can grasp that concept or not because you puke over the thought.

So much for Linda having an open mind as she has claimed so many times to have.

I think he mind is clouded from all those brainwashings she has received over the year. She doesn't know the difference between her Nerverland and reality.

Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.
